Slicks on the River
10/10 Excellent
"Slicks turned out to be ideal for our family. The bordering river was ideal for wading with our 3yr old grandson. Several fish were caught (and released) also. Very relaxing and satisfying stay."

"A lovely cabin and property with fantastic attention to detail and great communication by our host! Very comfortable bed and linens, exceptionally clean overall, and a snack platter waiting for us that was just right. We were chasing waterfalls for a story that will appear in South Carolina Living Magazine and within one weekend saw 15 good to spectacular ones not far from the cabin. Yellow Branch Falls may be my favorite, but Brasstown Falls is actually 4 falls in 1 with minimal hiking and should not be missed. There are 60 waterfalls listed for Oconee County in Thomas King's "Waterfall Hikes of Upstate South Carolina," now available in third edition from UGA Press. We used King's book as our primary guide along with the book that's available at the cabin. The website waterfallwalker.com covers the same information and has video & photos. We also enjoyed some good meals in Westminister and Walhalla and a fantastic pizza at Humble Pie down the road. We hope to return!"
"It was a wonderful little cabin, we enjoyed our stay very much. Management neglected to update the listing title as the dock no longer exists. There is access to the river but no dock. We loved the location and the peace of the river."
"This property was perfect for our getaway before school starts. We loved the property, the house, the amenities and the location. Perfect for visiting many local attractions and having a peaceful hangout after outings. Everything we needed was provided and this host went above and beyond by sending a few things through a Walmart delivery that I just mentioned may be good to have for the next guest the same day I messaged. We highly recommend this property!"
