"Small town- at first I felt like it would Be a bad idea judging by the cover which wasn’t terrible but I’m not a fan of hotels with the door outside. This one changed my mind. The building that we stayed in was behind the office. Our room was updated and clean. The shower was great per my children LOL The staff was kind. The breakfast gave a few options. The little dining area was nice. Overall good stay for us. No pool yet but cute little courtyard area."

"The location was perfect! The host is VERY responsive and timely in those responses. The only complaints that I have was that it is advertised as a shower/bath combo however checking instructions tell you not to use the bath. I do understand why, and it would not have changed my decision to book here. It is also advertised as a 3 bedroom however, one bedroom isn’t a room. It’s the loft area. Again, it wouldn’t have impacted my decision to book personally but could for someone else."

"What a remarkable property! This home, located on a quiet hilltop, was the perfect place to relax, unwind and escape Phoenix's oppressive heat. The space is thoughtfully appointed and doesn't skimp on the views. Oh my goodness, the views! Payson delivers on wildlife sightings (we saw elk all over town!) but we didn't have to leave the house to enjoy seeing the local wildlife from the patio. It was so quiet you could hear the birds wings flutter as they rode the thermals and the elk calling out to each other. What an incredible experience! Inside the home, the kitchen provides everything you need to prepare your meal and then enjoy it in the dining area. Relax and watch a movie on the massive television or just decompress on the comfy couch. The large and beautiful master bedroom has a lovely en suite bathroom with the half bath located in the hallway. The extra sleeping area isn't as private and gets bountiful light in the morning from the front windows so if you prefer a darker space use the master bedroom. The extra space, though, was comfy and had everything I needed to feel at home. And that's just it...we felt like we were at home. Our stay was wonderful and on the drive back to the valley we talked a lot about when we could go back. There is no place I would rather stay in Payson. Can't wait to visit again!"
