"We've stayed in many ''historical" lodges, cabins, & Bed & Breakfasts, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-maintained everything was - both indoors and outdoors! Although, our room was small (we'll know next time), our bed and pillows were very comfty! Steve and Linda were wonderful hosts & breakfast was warm and delicious!"

"This hotel is quite dated and I feel the ratings failed me this time. I think this hotel’s rating should be lower than 8. The bathroom vent wasn’t working so the steam build up irritated my wife while trying to get her hair done. It was hard finding a hotel in this area that has an excellent rating. Breakfast here was also subpar. And no coffee in the rooms either. "

"J’ai adoré ce lieu. Au calme dans la forêt. Ils ont plus de 40 cabines mais bien isolées les unes des autres. En arrivant on a vu des biches et lapins. Il y a tout le confort nécessaire (climatisation incluse), même de quoi faire un feu (il faisait trop chaud pour nous pour apprécier en faire un). On a réservé à peine 2h avant notre arrivée, j’ai eu les instructions juste à temps. Les échanges ne se font que par mail ou messagerie. De notre séjour au texas c’est notre meilleure nuit/hôtel. On serait bien resté une nuit de plus mais on devait monter sur dallas avant de prendre notre avion. Je recommande vivement."

"This was one of the worst motels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was filthy! There were roaches crawling on the nightstand. Eew! The continental breakfast was a joke!! One banana and 2 prepackaged pastries. No juice. I will be requesting a full refund"
