Our family of four came to visit and hike. The cabin was a perfect home base. Good location for hiking and activities close by. I would recommend to get groceries prior to arrival as a grocery store is a little bit away. Be careful pulling in to the driveway as you may drag on vehicle, but if you pull in just right it is fine. Take a walk around the neighborhood circle and you’ll see Mammoth Arch, really pretty at sunset. Overall really nice stay, beds comfortable.

We had a great time staying at the Dragonfly! There were a couple things that were not issues for us but a heads up to the property owners. The light above the queen bed was out and did not work when turned on. Also, we did find two dead roaches on the floor but did not find anymore than that so there’s a good chance they came from outside. Other than that it was great!

Trip started strong. Great directions, great ambience and fun flair for my kids who thought the loft was cool. Was a bit disappointed by all the dead bugs after it had just been cleaned but whatever, it’s the woods. Proximity to many great trails was ideal. The second night we got slammed with an insane storm. We were making every effort to be “off the grid” so the intensity of the storm did catch us a bit off guard. We lost power for a few hours which also resulted in loss of water and the ability to flush the toilet which was a surprise. The rain did not quit and while the cabin withstood the storm, the local roads were flooding really badly. We made a game time decision to evacuate out of fear we would lose our chance to get out safely. We notified RRGG who did promptly respond. Once safely out of town I did call VRBO to inquire about any kind of refund or even credit which we were denied. The property manager stated that the cabin was elevated and not at risk of flooding (that wasn’t our concern) and we could have canceled on account of the bad weather sooner. Having not been there before, we had no idea what to expect. I did reach back out to RRGG personally but no response. I’m trying to cut them some slack and assume they had a lot going on given the magnitude of the flooding (declared a statewide emergency).Bottom line: Hot tub and ambience good, customer service less so.
