Bed and Breakfast in Stanstead

"The property was very nice. With the shared common space this would be especially good for small groups; the two of us were the only guests this time so we had it all to ourselves, including the well-appointed kitchen and laundry facilities. Being able to descend directly to the bistro for a delicious breakfast was very welcome. The only drawback would be for someone with mobility issues: the rooms are on an upper floor so stairs are a factor. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come this way!"

"This is a clean space, courteous staff, is close to rue principal where all activity is happening, keep in mind that the breakfast is only available during weekends, for weekdays they offer breakfast at Auberge du Grand Lac and there are places nearby for the breakfast"

"Very Small rooms. Difficult furnishings. First and foremost - the rooms are VERY small. Yes, big enough for a king bed, but: - No work desk. Instead there is a small round high table with 2 stools. Very difficult to do any work here. - Small closet cabinet takes space from the room. No luggage stand. - Shower cabinet is so small that I had to open the door to pick up my soap (not enough room to bend over!) - Amenities (coffee, tissues, toilet paper, soap, etc.) were all bargain-basement quality. Other issues: - The parking lot is not paved. While this may not be an issue in mid-winter, it definitely is in muddy April. - All the rooms are on the 2nd floor, and there is no elevator. A real problem if you have heavy luggage (or a bad back). - The hotel is very close to an active train track, near a level crossing. Woken up twice overnight by the VERY loud train horns. HOWEVER, the restaurant is excellent."

"Very nice motel. Rooms redone and cozy. Quiet. Small fridge, Microwave, Coffee machine, A/C in the room, shower is hot and lots of space in the rooms. Parking lot in front of building and overall very nice and close to Coaticook and a few minutes to Ayers Cliff."

"Great staff and wonderful views. While some of the rooms have been updated, others would need to be. Children allowed in the spa/hottub and pool only after 6:30 PM is a bit restrictive. I believe 5:30 PM would be more reasonable, allowing for both adults and children to benefit from the amenities. "
