A steak was overcooked and when we pointed this out, the server challenged us and said it was fine. We were so hungry we ate the meal, but would never eat here again."

"Nach der Beschreibung hatten wir nicht erwartet, dass der Gasthof 6km von Monschau-Altstadt entfernt liegt. Der Einstieg zum Wanderweg ist zwar in direkter Nähe, aber am Abend musste man über die Bundesstraße zurücklaufen. "Had a great stay at the Sporthotel. The facilities are excellent and the surroundings are beautiful. The weather wasn’t great, but there was so much to do indoors that nobody was bored - tennis, table tennis, billiard, swimming pool, saunas, and a good gym! When the weather was good, we visited the volcanic lakes in the area - the autumn colours of the trees around were amazing in the sunshine. We loved the breakfast buffet which had a great variety of food on offer, and we also enjoyed the one evening meal we took. All in all, a really nice stay at Sporthotel Grafenwald!"
