"This cottage is located in a beautiful spot of the Snæfellsnes peninsula, right on the beach looking over the Bjerdha Fjord. It is close to Grundarfjörður town, which has grocery stores and restaurants, but at the same time it is isolated enough that we could see an amazing Northern lights spectacle late at night! The glass walls on 2 sides of the cabin allow even to observe the lights from inside (there are all blocking blinds/curtains when you want privacy, no worries!). The bathroom could use...

"We had a wonderful time staying 4 nights in this unique home on the Snaefellsnes peninsula. It was very cozy, even with cold winds outside. The kitchen is small, but well-equipped. This worked fine for our group of 3, as we only made breakfast there. The beds were comfortable, and there are light darkening shades on the bedroom windows. The staircase to the second floor is steep, but we were careful and had no incidents.It was a great base from which to access the sights."

"The cottage was compact and well equipped for 2 people. I liked the quiet location and easy parking. I had two caveats: large downloads and streaming was prohibited on the wifi and guests were requested to change the bedding, make up the bed for the next guests arriving."

"The location was stunning with the ocean on one side and the volcano on the other side. Very quiet and tiny village with a couple great restaurants/coffee shop. Within walking distance to the trail head of the Hellnar-Arnarstapi hike. The cottage was cozy and the beds comfy. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!"

"All in all, a very nice place to stay. Comfortable and a wonderful location. Only improvements I’d suggest are to have paper towels on hand to aid in cleaning at checkout. Kitchen stove wasn’t very clean when we arrived and someone used the best pot under the kitchen sink drain which has a slow leak. Bathroom floor was not clean when we arrived either."
