"The whole experience staying at this hotel was wonderful. My German isn’t very good but I always feel you should try to speak the language of the country you are staying in. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming and very professional and patient with my attempts to converse in German. The room was excellent for the price and the breakfast was more than sufficient with excellent choices. I would recommend staying at this hotel."

"We spent a week in the first floor apartment on the outskirts of Lubeck. The apartment was everything that we expected it to be, with all the required amenities. The apartment was a really nice place to stay, so we were quite happy to stay in on an evening when the weather wasn't too great. Barbara was a really good host, gave us all the information that we needed to access the building. The location of the apartment was perfect walking distance to the centre of Lubeck and also a great location for other places of interest including the coast, Hamburg, Schwerin and Wismar to name but a few. No problems being able to park outside the property at the side of the road."

"Great property for a night or two in Lubeck. Right off the main square and next to MarienKirche. Uber can drop off and pick up right at the front door. Only drawbacks are the lack of space for luggage in the rooms and the fact that the church’s bells do ring on the quarter hour all night long. We had our window cracked so that probably made them louder."
