The Cook Cottage sleeps 4 in Dunedin

Private Cottage behind the house called the Cook Cottage named after Ms Cook who restored the property to its beauty that you see today. This 1 bedroom spacious cottage has a ensuite bedroom with a King size bed and a private patio. Your private patio comes with a grill, lounge area, a dining table and your own washer and dryer. There are also bikes to use during your stay on a first come first serve basis.

The Space: The Cook Cottage is behind the main house just 1 block from historic downtown Dunedin. You will love the completely private, modern 1 bedroom cottage. Fully stocked, full size kitchen with dishes, coffee pot, silverware and pots and pans. Your living room has a queen size sleeper sofa, smart TV and dining table. Your ensuite Bedroom has a King size bed and a desk to do a little bit of work before starting your day. Your access to the back patio is through the bedroom. Your private patio comes with a grill, lounge area, a dining table and your own washer and dryer.

Complete privacy with street parking.

Great location

The Cook Cottage is very conveniently located in downtown Dunedin. We loved walking to all the shops, restaurants, breweries, and up and down the Pinellas Trail. The overall property has bicycles available, which we appreciated. The cottage itself is charming and cozy, perfect for two people (and a dog). Jennifer was super-responsive when any small issues or questions arose.

Great Weekend Getaway

Jennifer, the host was first-class in her communications & her description of the Cottage. Nice quiet neighborhood, the perfect location for a real easy walk to the downtown activities and nice restaurants. The Cook Cottage, tucked away behind the main house was perfect for our short stay in Dunedin. We hope to return in the future.

Perfect Dunedin location in a cozy cottage

My husband and I loved our stay here so much that we may consider one day retiring this wonderful coastal gulf town. We pick this cottage because it was within walking distance of the marina and boat ramp. The host allowed us to park our jet ski on the property and was very accommodating. We loved hanging out on the back porch in the evenings, walking in to town and enjoying the local breweries and restaurants. We also walked to the local fish market to get our catch of the day! It was the perfect getaway!

A great choice!

This was our first trip from the midwest to Florida during the winter in search of sun and warmth! Friends recommended Dunedin. It is a lovely small town (cute perhaps) and is not as congested as places south. Cook Cottage served us well. It is well appointed and really fits two adults well. The best part is the location. You can walk to town or the bay from there easily. We'd recommend this warmly.

We loved this little cottage! Completely updated and fully stocked with everything and more you would need for your home-away-from-home. The owner was quick to answer any questions and we felt very comfortable during out stay. Everything you want or need is within walkig distance ie groceries (organic market), a multitude of restaurants, shops and boutiques. We loved that it was a quick 15 minutes to Clearwater Beach but even better was taking the ferry over to the beach which was lovely! We were 15 minutes from most places we wanted to visit but most of the time we spent just enjoying the town of Dunedin. The home is behind the main house; separate and private.. Parking was easy right in front of the home. We would love to return. I will add we took a tour of the main house which rents as a Bed and Breakfast style and is absolutely gorgeous.

What a wonderful place

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage. We absolutely hand a wonderful time. Everything was so clean and organized and you guys really thought of everything a guest could possibly need for a beach vacation. Thank you for allowing our dog he had a great time at all the breweries around town and on Honeymoon Beach. My wife and I really enjoyed the golf cart and used it to go down to the park for sunset every night. We really wanted to try the bikes on the trail but it was just to hot this time. We will for sure be staying here again. Five Star Rating for sure from us. Thank you again for making our vacation one to remember. Sincerely, Andy & Jennifer

Perfectly Cozy!

We were in town for a wedding at the Fenway hotel, and decided to bring the pup and rent this cozy cottage. It could not have been more perfect. The layout was spacious and had a private door to the backyard to take the puppy out as needed. Everything was clean and the host was great with communication. Location was also central to downtown so was able to walk to a coffee shop in the morning before heading to wedding festivities. We have already sent this cottage to our in-laws for future stays. Would highly recommend!

I had my dogs with me and it was nice to stay somewhere where my dogs were welcomed. Walkable to downtown, short drive to the beach. Dunedin is super dog friendly so I was able to bring my dogs with me everywhere we went. Host gave updates and responded in a timely manner.
