Surf Song 335 - Enjoy your stay at Madeira Beach in your home away from home! Here you will find a 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo that is ready for your stay! Step into an updated full kitchen, with newer appliances and stocked with utilities, including coffee maker and microwave. Please note this condo does not have a dishwasher. For meals, the bar seats up to two people. The cozy living area is well appointed and includes a nice sized television. Pocket doors from the living room lead to the master bedroom, complete with king sized bed and television as well as access to the common balcony. This balcony is shared with the 4 other condos also on this floor. As with all SunHost properties, every need is met, including fresh linens, extra pillows, and plenty of towels are stocked prior to your arrival.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

Free Wifi Please note there is no phone in this condo.

As a SunHost guest, you will have access to office services, including copy and printing boarding passes. Seven day a week maintenance service is available as well as an after hours emergency on call person. This is a non smoking home.

A few short steps away is the heated swimming pool with table and chairs, BBQ facilities, and of course the magnificent beaches. You won't be disappointed in all this area offers. An added bonus? John's Village Pass is across this street. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. Its 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This Gulf getaway has something for everyone, including dolphin watching, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: we stayed in room 335, it was not as clean as we expected. the furniture was very dirty and stained. the view from our so called balcony was mostly obstructed by the roof of the next building.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been going to the Surfsong for about 20 years. In the last ew years it has changed there use to be quite a few of their employees working there everyday now they only have one man working part time. Scott is the maintenance guy there he is very good and does a great job, but he is only one person when there used to be many. Now their pool company is out sourced and they aren’t as good as when Sunhost maintance was doing the job, they should have the pool ready by 9:30 when the pool opens instead of the afternoon when people are in it. They also don’t show up every day. Once they didn’t show up for 2 days.

Beautiful location

No paper towels, no beach stuff or beach towels etc. Overall it was worth it just bring your own stuff. Oh and a good pillow. I would rent again.

Small but cute.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was smaller than I thought but great for a couple. Only problems I had with it is when you first walk in there was a smell. Kinda of like an old musty smell. But once you were inside for a little bit you didn’t notice it anymore. Second the stove didn’t work at all. But for us that was ok because we eat out when we’re on vacation. I don’t go on vacation to cook, lol! But overall the place worked out for us.

Decent accommodations for the price - staff could be better

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a small efficiency property. It has the basic amenities. It's not flashy or large, but it does the job. The balcony is shared with 4 other rooms on the floor, and overlooks the roof of another section of the facility. However it is quiet and clean. The salt-water pool was warm, which was nice. It would be better if management actually enforced the smoking restrictions. There were designated smoking areas, but people smoked on the property wherever they wanted. Even outside I would prefer my environment to be smoke-free. And when the smoke alarm was set off, no-one from the office on-site bothered to call the fire department or let the residents know what was going on. It took a renter to call 911 to have the Fire Department come out and determine there was no fire and it was safe to return to the building. Following that, it took several hours for the staff to get an elevator company to reset the elevator so a disabled person could get back to their room. Not a terrible tragedy, but off-putting.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the Gulf Coast of Florida and have stayed at many Gulf Coast areas over the years. We discovered Johns Pass years ago when we were staying up the beach a few miles north. With this trip, I wanted to be walking distance to Johns Pass, and this condo we rented was directly across the street from all of the shopping and restaurants Johns pass has to offer. We never had to drive anywhere, as everything we needed was a short walk. Our condo was right on the beach. We had covered parking, and the beach was beautiful. In the evening we just walked across the street for dinner, every night at a different restaurant. Johns pass is a very laid back and interesting area. The condo we rented was nice, comfortable, and clean. We had a beach view from the room, although it was somewhat obstructed by part of the building. We had a nice (shared) balcony with chairs to sit out on when at the condo. Our vacation in experience was relaxing and very enjoyable. We will stay here again, probably this coming spring.

Hurricane Holiday

The room was as usual very clean, but the sofa should be replaced and the ottoman vas very dirty and stained. Besides that we had a great time.

Your patio runs into four other units to the left, so any of those guests can walk up to your sliding glass door. The unit itself was small and in need of updating. We had to leave on day 2 due to a death in the family-no travel insurance and the desk clerk could've cared less-no refunds.

Great Unit, Great Location

We were very happy with the unit and the location, but our enjoyment of the property was compromised by other guests in the building not following rules. There is a designated smoking area in a corner of the patio, but the other guests were smoking in all common areas. Guests were playing music very loud in the pool area, making it hard for us to enjoy the pool. There is a sign posted indicating all music must be played through headphones, Despite signs prohibiting balls and floats in the pool, There were kids throwing balls in the pool area which prevented us from swimming. It is a very nice, clean property, but we felt the on site management should enforce the rules so that everyone can enjoy their stay.

Surf Song should be torn down

It seems that they made an addition in the cheapest way possible. The buildings are attached but a flock of stairs!! The garage roof is a hazard!! It is rusted and looks like it's going to crumble down with any little storm!!We made our stay a great vacation but the unit was very mediocre. Furniture probably bought at a garage sale. This is a unit that is for 2 people so it is supposed to be a romantic getaway.Far from that!! The balcony is shared, no privacy. There's 2 completely unmatching chairs, probably given away by people and a plastic stool!!Was that supposed to be the table? Inside everything looks ancient. TVs are small. You can tell that nothing was ever replaced in that unit. There were no essentials eg. paper towels. The dining table and chairs were of no use to eat. The legs of the table moved. Horrible unit!! We hate when owners do not put any money into these rental properties. The only thing I could rescue from this unit was the bed. Probably the only thing updated. We heard other people being very dissatisfied with their units too. Conclusion: Surf Song is overpriced, should be dirt cheap and well then you get what you pay. Very expensive place for the condition of the building.

We love that it was right across from Johns Pass and could walk to shop, have dinner, and drinks and enjoy the Pass. This was the smallest condo we’ve ever stayed in there but it was perfect for 2. Had all the kitchen amenities and towels etc.. we do wish it had beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach, but we just bought some for the week. The pool was a little small but overall clean and staff was friendly when we checked in.
