Basic necessities met

The building is older and the complex does not include many amenities. The unit was comfortable and functional for our needs. We enjoyed having the small simple patio off one of the bedrooms with a view of the beach. The beds and sofa/chair were pretty comfortable. Other furniture was worn, but functional. The location was very good. It is a short walk to the beach and to several great local restaurants, bars and shops. The people working there we dealt with were all friendly and helpful.

Great location if you like a quieter beach area!

Our family of 5 really loved the location of this rental! The beach was a very short walk away. And comparing this area to other coastal cities, we're really glad we booked here. The busyness of Clearwater was overwhelming! This was a much nicer pace and didn't have to deal with all of the traffic. The beach is great in this area with soft sand and shells to rummage for. This rental is pretty outdated and was not very clean in areas. Towels are pretty rough and thin. Large lamp in living room did not work. The beds were pretty comfortable, although pillows were very flat. Was nice that there were a few beach chairs to use and plenty of kitchen dishes. The internet did not work well at all. It is on the 3rd floor of a small condo resort. The woman in the office was very friendly. We could not arrive before the office closed, so I simply called a few days before and she was very nice about making arrangements for us to get our key after hours. It was somewhat family friendly, although the majority of the occupants seemed to be retirement age. They did not seem very pleased when my 3 young boys entered the pool area for some fun. Was nice that there were laundry facilities (coin-operated) to use. Overall, the best part was the quiet location and close proximity to the beach.

The best place at the beach

TRS takes great care of customers. They work with me to find the best deal and most affordable condos available. I've stayed in 3 different condos and this one is by far the best. The owners have excellent taste in decorating and the outdoor rooftop patio is a wonderful place to unwind and relax. I had the best vacation ever:)

Gulf Winds

We have stayed many times at Gulf Winds and in many units. For the most part everything was pretty good. My had 3 or 4 small issues. The internet is very slow but this I believe is a Gulf Winds Resort issue not related to this unit. The other issues include is the blender did not work and was a piece of junk, we ended up buying a $25 bender that was100 better so invest in a better blender, toaster, and small appliances. Even some better TV's for the bedroom. The master bedroom had a tiny old tube TV and the living room while it had a nicer flat screen it sat in front of a gigantic tube tv. There is also a ton of clutter in all the kitchen cabinets, the kitchen utensils (forks, spoons, knives) are all old and mismatched, I don't think anything has ever been throw out. There were about 8 TV remotes. The ice maker was very slow so we ended up buying bags of ice. For a small investment you really made it much better and please start tossing out of old stuff and reduce the clutter. But overall the unit was fine and the vacation relaxing just fix the things above.
