Captain's Cove waterfront condo with shared heated pool

Welcome to Captain's Cove! A quiet 27-unit complex in Indian Shores, FL located directly on the intracoastal waters and right across the street from the peaceful beaches of Indian Shores. Enjoy intracoastal sunrises from the balcony and sunsets at the beach located just across the street from the Captain's Cove complex. The complex has a private pier that you can fish off of or wave to the boats going by. Captain's Cove is located in Indian Shores, Fl nestled between the attractions of Clearwater Beach and John's Pass boardwalk. There are many restaurants within walking distance of the condo. The beach access is a short 3 minute walk from the condo. When you leave the condo head south and you will see the beach access.

This unit is located on the third floor. The first floor is parking (underneath the building with no storage area for beach gear). You will need to climb 2 flights of stairs to reach the unit. There is no elevator.

The spacious master bedroom has a king size bed plus a full size futon. It also has a desk and chair in case you need to work remotely.

The guest bedroom has a queen size bed plus twin bunk beds. No one over 100 lbs. should sleep on the top bunk.

There is basic cable on the living room smart TV. There are smart TV's in each bedroom (with no cable) for streaming only.

The complex has a heated pool in case you don't want to make the short walk to the beach.

This unit was beautiful! The deck out back with the view of the bay. The beach access is right across the street. The amount of beach equipment was amazing! Unit was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked. Didnt need to buy anything extra. Management was extremely responsive and knowledgeable of the area. If ever In the area looking for a place, this will be the unit of rent.

This place was amazing! It was super, had everything I could possibly need, and really close to the beach. The views from the balcony were amazing and peaceful. I would stay here again in the future for sure. The host was the best and very easy to communicate with.

Property is exactly as described. Fully equipped for a wek at the beach with toys, chairs, towels, umbrella and a wagon to haul it all right across the street for easy beach access. Unit was clean and we enjoyed our stay. Kids have already asked about going back. Highly recommend!!

Quiet Resort with the best view

This is our 4th year staying at Captain's Cove. We love the quiet location, with the beautiful view of the intercoastal canal. We stay for 3 weeks, and the place feels like home. There is a community heated pool which is enjoyable, although we usually prefer the short 3 minute walk to the lovely beach (across the street). The condo has everything we need.

We loved this condo! It was very clean and had everything we needed for cooking, going to the beach, and fishing. This was the most well-stocked condo we have ever stayed in. We enjoyed the pier on property and it was a short easy walk across the street to the beach.

THE place to stay in IRB

Lovely Florida Vacation Spot

We have stayed at Captain's Cove for several years, and thoroughly enjoyed our visits The condo has a lovely view of the intercoastal canal. We enjoy having our coffee and also dinner on the deck. We take advantage of the heated pool, and also the short walk to the beach. The condo itself has everything we need for a great vacation.

Great place

The condo was a great size for a family of 5 with three young kids close to the beach, shops and ice cream. There were games for the kids and adults to play on a rainy afternoon. Great view of the canal and got to see dolphins from the deck, that was cool. Had lots of beach toys and chairs for everyone.

Wonderful condo and view!

My family (in-laws, husband and children) loved staying in this beautiful condo with fantastic location and view. The beach is nearly right across the road, the condo has nice large (well decorated) rooms, an amazing porch and even provides basic needs (sugar, dishwashing liquid, etc) to get you going. Parking is easy and not an extra charge like it is in most other rentals. Will most definitely visit again.

This home was wonderful. It had everything you would need. There were beach chairs, bags, toys and two wagons. There was a closet full of beach towels to use too! The beach was a 5 minute walk across the street. You will need to bring shampoo and shower gel. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Getaway

Everything was as advertised and as pictured. We throughly enjoyed the patio - it was the perfect view for morning coffee and dinner. We also enjoyed watching birds and dolphins from the pier - it's the perfect spot for an amazing sunrise. It's a five minute walk to a nice beach with clear water. It's a nice place to stay - a few updates to make in the master bath, but not a big deal. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Captain's Cove. The condo was spacious and had a fantastic view. We really appreciated everything that was provided including beach chairs and beach towels. The kitchen was fully stocked. The host was easy to communicate with, provided clear instructions, and answered all questions quickly. The condo is very close to the beach access as well. Amazing property with everything you could need

This place was exactly as advertised and was in a great spot. The unit itself had everything we needed to make traveling with a toddler easy and to not have as many items to pack. The kitchen came fully equipped with anything you could need to cook with. The view was amazing over the water and we even got to see some dolphins! The location was great with an amazing ice cream and empanada restaurant a few minute walk away. Communications with the host were fast and efficient. We would definitely look to rent this unit again in the future.

Slice of Paradise

This place was simply amazing! The view is incredible. There was a nice open area for great family space and the bedrooms were private. The condo was more stocked with cooking incidentals than other places we've stayed. Check in/out was super smooth. We loved coffee on the balcony patio while watching manatees and the different birds. It was a quick walk to the beach (beach gear provided) and the sunsets were gorgeous. Pool with outdoor shower was refreshing. For ice cream lovers (even diary free)- Lulu's is a must and it's just a few steps away from the Cove. We can't wait to come back to this secret gem!

Apartment has everything you'd need to go to the beach and pool. Was nice to load car or wagon and head out for the day.You do need to keep all items in vehicle or bring them back up to apartment. Being able to leave items in parking garage would have been nice but is prohibited.Lots of beach towels and having washer/dryer was great. Place is out of the hussle and bussle of city life but close to everything.You will need to walk down the street a bit to get to beach access but quick walk.Overall great stay, aside from some work being done on complex.behind us which creates a continues back up beep noise the entirety of our stay.

Perfect Getaway

My new husband and I came to stay at Captain's Cove for our Honeymoon. We had the best time. The apartment was perfect - we loved the big master suite and the balcony. My husband loved the gorgeous skylight. The view from this condo is absolutely gorgeous, especially at sunrise/sunset. We loved how there were two tables on the balcony - a ton of seating and space. The location is perfect. You can walk or take a short drive to all the local spots on Indian Rocks, and it's a very short drive to the beach. There's beaching, eating, drinking, shopping, I even went to yoga! The condo was clean and the host was easy to reach. The parking instructions were a little bit confusing and the picture of the pool makes it look a little nicer than it really was - it's quite small. Overall we had an absolutely amazing trip to Captain's Cove and Indian Rocks Beach and would love to return.
