I would give it a 5 but as a woman traveling alone I wish the windows and doors were more secure. Otherwise it was a nice stay, everyone is friendly. I felt safe in the area. Women traveling alone though need to know it is an outside facing door.

This is an older Motel, one with charm I would say, and while it does need to be updated, you can see where some are or have been made. We had a room with a kitchen, and it looked to be updated with new counter top, the appliances were fine, we did not use the kitchen, would have if we had a longer stay than just overnight. The bath room had been updates, with a mirror that all the ladies will love, special lighting built in.The shower curtain was not wide enough to close off the shower so it was a little drafty when taking a shower, but there was pleanty of hot water and pressure. Our room was clean, the beds were very nice, the flooring all looked newer no carpet which I like that. The ac was a wall uinit, we did not use it, the weather was so nice we just opened the windows, we were on the top floor so not worried about the windows being opened. The furniture is a little outdated,but still with the old charm. Ice maker cost .25 cents, but did not work for us. Outside does need to be updated, the Heated pool looked nice, many other guest using that area, they had outside games for the guest to play, such as cornhole, shuffle board. Location was very close to the main resturants etc., so easy to go and explore. The staff were all very nice. There is NO elevator which I belive is in the discription, so keep that in mind, and each room has their own number parking space, which to me was a plus. Yes, we would stay here again without any problems.

My mother had dementia and had a medical event, I had to fly down quickly. I booked a room there for 1 week. It checked all the boxes I needed. It had a kitchenette with dishes, pots, pans, toaster, coffee maker, ect. It was clean, had a good amount of cable channels and a beautiful pool. Its very wonderfully retro and very clean. The management are amazing people. They found out why I was there, and helped me tremendously with anything I needed, including making sure I had a way back to the airport on time. Honestly, I couldn't have found a better place to stay for the money. It was quiet, clean, convenient, safe, and just a wonderful place to stay. I can not recommend this hotel enough!

If you're lookimg for a clean, comfortable place to be for a couple days, this place works! There's a pool for your kids to get energy out, and each room is like a small apartment with a kitchen. Its not updated at all, but super clean and comfortable.

This property is old - you can buy postcards on Ebay from the 60s/70s featuring this motel. It's remarkably well kept, it's clean, no bugs (in Florida!), in good repair. It's a throwback, for sure, though. When checking in, I filled out a registration card! Really!

Simple changes needed to meet expectations

I liked: windows opened, AC was cold and quiet, bed was comfortable, large refrig., clean and inexpensive. Improvements: pillows too long and flat, upgrade towels and comforter, remove carpet, provide coffee filters, shampoo,blow dryer, paper towel, hand soap and dishwashing liquid at sink. Quests need to bring drinking water- no bottled water for purchase at motel.
