Creekside Cabin near Lake Coeur d'Alene | Pet-friendly retreat

"Everything about the lodging itself was as described. But a few amenities were below expectations. 1-Phone service. We read that cell phone service was sketchy so a landline was provided. But discovered when we arrived that was no longer available. No problem since WiFi was available, right? Wrong. WiFi *was* available but insufficient. 2-WiFi. Our group had a few virtual meetings scheduled. But the weak WiFi meant we could only see and hear the client but we had to turn off our own camera to reduce bandwidth so they could hear our questions. During such calls, none of our 8 men could even text out to family. When we weren't having virtual meetings (which mostly we didn't) we mostly couldn't text a pic out over WiFi or upload to a platform. We could go stand on the street and connect by satellite sometimes. But trees didn't permit a great connection that way either. 3-DVD Player. There *was* a DVD/BluRay player but the remote was nowhere to be found. The buttons on the player only allowed play/pause, stop, and eject. No FF, rewind, or scene select. No way to access special features. We brought a few of our own discs for a movie night and when the scene froze mid-way, we had to start our movie night at the beginning again. Used the DVD player since we were leery we could hope to stream a movie with the insufficient WiFi. ...Really did appreciate the screened out building alongside the stream. Very pleasant place to meet!"

"Our family (cousins and spouses) had a wonderful time staying at (Kitt Island Bay)! The view? 5/5… the amenities? 5/5… the host’s incredible hospitality? 10/5! We all felt so welcomed! The attention to detail and hospitality were evident throughout the entire property. The kitchen is fantastic and provides all the necessary cooking and tableware for meal preparation and snacking. The various decks are spacious with comfortable seating for catching up. The bedrooms are restful and comfy, and the entire home is impeccably clean, inviting, and beautifully decorated. And those views are truly breathtaking. Although the weather didn’t allow for a bonfire or the outdoor hot tub, we thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon of Sunday football on the large downstairs TV screen! Bottom line: A perfect 5-star VRBO stay filled with beautiful touches of hospitality. Do be prepared for the driveway—it’s a tight squeeze with a sharp U-turn entry and a steep, narrow drive downward! Take your time; there’s access to a spacious garage at the end, and the entire property is total paradise!"

"This was the perfect place to get away! With things to do for the kiddos from the lake activities, to the game shed, to the bikes, we really found no reason to need to go to town except for food."

"Great property if you want to get away from it all with no interruptions from email or phone. Wonderful fishing off the dock and location was great to get to Coeur d’ Alene and St Joe’s River for fishing. The hosts are very responsive and helpful."

"Cozy 1 bed cabin with full kitchen and washer dryer (under the cabin) just as advertised. Maybe 12 minutes walk to the town.Enjoyed just sitting on the deck embracing the view and quiet."

"Great views from the house and the house was well appointed to meet all our needs. We had an issue with no propane when we first arrived but our host had that fixed within an hour. We were very happy with our stay. My wife said it was magical."

"We loved everything about our stay. The only complication was the information about where to park our boat trailer. It was awkward being confronted by a neighbor. However this was minor and we had the vacation of a lifetime thanks to Cassie! The house is beautiful and stocked so thoroughly it felt like I was at a 5 star hotel."
