"This is a nice home but old and rundown on the outside. The listing doesn’t show any photos of the front of the house so, after a 6hr drive, we weren’t even sure we were at the right house - there is no address on it. The code for the keypad didn’t work so it took us a half hour to get inside. The listing mentions that there are stairs (it’s a 2-story home) but it does not mention how steep it is walking from where you have to park to where you enter the house. "Beautiful log cabin, right on the lake with a beautiful view from the balcony. Very clean and well appointed inside. Well-stocked kitchen with equipment and spices. Chad was very attentive to any questions that we had would stay here again!"

"Everything about the Cabin Retreat was amazing. The level of comfort and attention to detail was impeccable. We absolutely loved the outdoor kitchen and having instant hot water tanks at every sink/bathroom was an unexpected bonus. Nothing was skimped on, from the available supplies in the kitchen, the stash of board games, or the cozy bedding. We also greatly appreciated the low-scent detergent used for the bedding and towels. It was just one more little thing that made our stay even better."

"Perfect family summer getaway! Comfortable, clean, well appointed Cabin on the lake. Spacious deck with gorgeous lake views under the shaded pine trees. Spent hours swimming off the dock and playing games up on the deck. Short drive to Coeur D’ Alene, or boat over to the creamery in Harrison. Good food and drinks at Shooters at the Marina just 1.5 miles away. Our hosts, Steve and Diane, went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect, and it was! We’ll definitely be back!"

"The house itself is unbelievably peaceful. The neighborhood was quiet. However, it’s very far from everything. It is also extremely hot and a couple of the fans were not working. Our mistake that we did not see there was no AC but a simple window unit would’ve been very helpful in the home. Especially for that price."
