Super comfy

This VRBO having 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, accommodated 3 couples and a 1 year old perfectly. It was clean, well stocked with necessities and in a perfect location in the city.We were able to walk to Missouri Botanical Garden, the farmer’s market at Tower Grove Park and several restaurants. I would recommend to anyone and absolutely would stay here again!!

Great place to stay

This is a great property to stay at when visiting St Louis. It was minutes from all of our activities (downtown, zoo, Anheuser Busch), it was clean, well stocked and in a great neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!

The ONLY two things I disliked about this property were the towels (they were a little rough, definitely basic hotel type towels) and the parking. The neighbor had a box truck and blocked the majority of spots with it. Other than that, it was super clean, beds were comfortable, and spacious enough for my little family! Would 10/10 stay again!

Quick Getaway

My wife and I brought four friends with us. Great location for everything we wanted, several eateries, wine bar, botanical gardens, Muny Opera, Forest Park and restaurants on the hill. Beautiful weather for August .

35 th Annual Gumbo Day !

We met the owners who were very friendly and hospitable-they are rightly proud of their beautiful spaces! The kitchen is so well-equipped and they have so many welcoming touches.. The rooms upstairs are very well-appointed and comfortable.

So happy to recommend this house!

A lot of thought and care has been given to making this home comfortable and welcoming. Great bathrooms and kitchen, lots of TVs, nice back yard, big dining room table for sharing food or games. The location is excellent. We wouldn't hesitate to return!

Awesome Property in a convenient location

What a great house for a friend gathering. We were able to walk the neighborhood for things to do as well as places to eat. Convenient place to get to anywhere. We enjoyed the neighborhood framers market and the Botanical Gardens (both walkable from the VRBO). We also took in a Cards game and enjoyed City Museum!!! Highly recommend!!! Host was very friendly and available.

Just Great!

This home was in a great location, was a great size, and was a great stay! While the backyard wasn’t completely fenced in on one side, it was easily blocked by standing there while enjoying the backyard space. This home was the perfect size and setup for hosting our group or any group of 3 couples. The location was great for walking to the Botanical Centsf and neighbors were friendly and welcoming.

Spacious home

Our family used this home for Thanksgiving. The kitchen is spacious and is very well stocked for cooking. The large dining table allowed our family of 12 to gather around the table. There was room in the dining room to bring the kitchen table in for extra seating. It was very cold during our visit, but the home was very comfortable. It wasn’t drafty like older homes can be. The beds we comfortable and perfect for those of us that slept there. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Nice home base for St Louis trip

This property was great for our family of 2 adults and 4 kids. Close drive to Forest Park and downtown. Nice neighborhood and easily found close street parking. We didn’t do any cooking in the house but seemed to have most supplies if you wanted to cook. Nice to have shampoo/conditioner/bodywash dispensers in bathrooms and laundry supplies. Beds were comfortable and appreciated having alarm clocks available in all bedrooms. Would stay again.

Family fun!

This house is amazing! It had everything we needed and then some! Plenty of bath towels and kitchen towels. Kitchen was stocked with spices, they had coffee and filters, and plenty of cooking supplies. Very clean. Perfect table for us to play games. We also enjoyed the fenced in back yard and the balcony. The decorations gave it an at home feel!

We really enjoyed the beds our great quality. Plenty of space everyone had their own privacy. Kitchen could use a few things like a larger toaster. Considering it's a home to hold a lot of people. Maybe a few more pots in panes with lids to make it more convenient for cooking. Other than that without the place was great. great location

Charming House in Stellar location

My family and I spent a full week in this cozy home for the Thanksgiving week. The property was clean and so nicely decorated and stocked with all the essentials. All the details were well-planned out. The host took care of all our needs. The beds were so comfortable and there was a great kitchen and dining room for Thanksgiving dinner. The neighborhood is gorgeous with a delicious local bakery, restaurant, and local grocery all within walking distance. The house is central to all of St. Louis and is a great launching point for all the sites. Highly recommend this home.

Cutest condo/townhome in the area!

We fell in love with this cute house! We were only there for a long weekend but wished we could’ve stayed longer! The pictures are very accurate. Each of the rooms is just as it shows, maybe even nicer in person. The only thing I would note is there are a good amount of wooden stairs that leads up to all the bedrooms. They can be slippery when going up and down so be careful. Beds were comfy, safe neighborhood and quiet. And you have everything you would need in a kitchen if you want to cook. We were able to take advantage of that and loved how we didn’t have to buy much at all. The hosts were also very reachable and helpful when we needed anything. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Definitely on our list of top VRBOs and we will be back!

A great place to stay!

We were very happy to see that the description in the listing was fully accurate. The decor is tasteful and appropriate. It is a great central location - 10-15 minute drive to most tourist sites - and some locations within walking distance. We walked to/from dinner several days during our stay. Distance to very nice places was .5 to 1 mile (which we didn't mind) and others were just a quick drive away. (We highly recommend Pho Long and Sauce on the Side. Both less than a mile away.) Parking was fine; we were always able to find a space nearby (right in front or less than half a block). It is on-street parking, but as long as you have some skill with parallel parking, you'll be fine. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of this home. We've stayed in several places where, if you walk around barefoot, there is grit/dirt on the floors. Not here! The mattresses were firm (just the right amount) and very comfortable; as all of our group commented. The kitchen had almost every dish or appliance you might want and they all worked well. If you are traveling to STL and would like a nice, clean place to stay, in a central location, this is it! Should we decide to return to STL, we will try to book here first! p.s. We didn't use the backyard or grill so we can't comment on those items. Mostly, we used it as a place to sleep and eat breakfast together. However, given our general experience, I would expect they are also excellent. Ugh! Character limit...

Our stay at the Modern Downtown Getaway was wonderful. We had trouble checking into the property (our fault) but the property owner was very responsive and helpful. The property was very clean and worked well for our family of four plus a small dog. We loved the neighborhood and felt very safe walking around at night. The older townhome was rehabbed beautifully. Great kitchen and three lovely bathrooms.
