Great place wonderful neighborhood.

Very nice place for the family from ages 2 to 80 to relax. The cabin is super clean, and the surrounding area is very fun. Bring your golf cart if you have one.

Favorite Spot

We visited for the second time to the cabin for an annual event in the area. Both times it has served our party well. We love the cabin and the surrounding area for coffee, food, and music all within walking distance.

Our stay was great

We really enjoyed this property, it was the perfect location for me and my bridesmaids to get ready before my wedding. I was concerned that the property size wouldn’t be enough to accomadate us and the hair and makeup people but I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. The property is much larger than it looked in the photos. The main shower was pretty slippery, that would be my only complaint.

Great experience

The house was great and it was a wonderful place for my family to create memories. I loved how the main room did not have a TV. It was in the basement. I love the wraparound porch.And it really invited leisure time. The shops around were great. There was live music on the weekend which was a little noisy, but it was done by ten fifteen. The cabin itself was clean and very welcoming. You could tell it was designed with a family in mind. Highly recommend!!!

My family could not get over how CUTE this place is! The “Main Street” of Cottleville only being steps away, the remodeled 200-year-old cabin, the vibe - all of it was like we were in a Hallmark movie. We stayed for a couple of nights leading up to my sister’s wedding and the hosts were SO accommodating and helpful. They made sure I got in quickly, and even gathered up some things we left behind so I could swing by the day after check out and grab them. They were so sweet, and the place was incredibly well done. We had a blast in the open concept living/kitchen area and all the bedrooms were super comfy. The only thing I would say is that there were barely any window coverings on the main floor (all the bedrooms have them of course) so it just felt a little exposed when I stayed alone the first night. Other than that very minuscule note, it was the absolute perfect place to stay. We couldn’t have been happier with the Bross Brothers’ Cabin!

Very nice place. Live music could be heard until around 10pm each night which isn’t ideal but not too late at least. Only other negative for me was that the two main rooms were on separate levels. I may have just missed this in the online info but only one bedroom on main level all the rest in basement. Overall lovely place to stay!

Fantastic Experience / Exceptional Property

We booked the property even though there were no reviews on VRBO. All you really need to know is if we ever have the opportunity to go to St Charles / Cottleville again, we will stay here, asuuming it is available. It's perfect for 2 couples and a newborn (our party). Master bedroom and 2nd bedroom on seperately floors gives privacy and peaceful rest. The craftsmanship of the construction is just amazing. Stay here if you have the opportunity. You will be glad you did.

Big recommendation!

Please put a non slip bath mat in main level guest shower as when it gets wet, it is extremely dangerous as it is very slippery especially when you are putting soap or shampoo and it is very slippery and might I suggest, that there are some very nice ant microbial bamboo shower mats available online on Amazon. It would look nice and you might avoid a future lawsuit because I believe somebody is going to get hurt soon, so I would do it ASAP! Other than that it was perfect, maybe add a tea kettle or instant hot for tea drinkers! Thank you!

The beds were comfy and the house was historic. Charming. Inside, the first impression was ok but on closer inspection not clean at all. The finishes could use some deep cleaning and touch ups. Many light fixtures were loosely attached. The cookware was sub par. Outside, there were piles of wet decomposed leaves on the front porch and in the area by the driveway creating millions of mosquitoes which attacked us as soon as we walked outside. The front porch couldn't be used because the cushions were nasty and covered in mold - regardless of the mosquitoes - and the front door was not operational. Worst of ALL, my kids were covered in flea bites from inside the house as well. We didn't venture outside so the bites came from the couches or carpets or beds. I had them and never sat on the couches. Overall, I'm disappointed despite the neighborhood being so charming. This house could be charming, too if cleaned and exterminated and the outside maintenance kept up. Do better!

These accommodations were outstanding. The character, decor & cleanliness of this unique house was perfect. Our family just experienced the addition of two, new (out of state) grandbabies. This house was perfect for their stay and to host a party so local family members could enjoy the new additions. I would highly recommend this place-its simply perfect. Will be booking again.
