It was really unfortunate that there had been a heat wave which killed the aircon for a lot of rooms - mine included. So hot and uncomfortable without it but I realise that this is possibly not the norm for the hotel. Staff of course were powerless.
Front of house staff (doorman) was a little rude to us on arrival which surprised me. Other staff were lovely.
No water in room. No bathroom amenities other than a shower cap.
Breakfast buffet average for a 4+ star hotel. Coffee was pretty ordinary.
It would probably have been a really lovely stay with aircon (which I was looking forward to) but the other things really let it down. Was disappointed.
Having said that, it's a beautiful building and nice good-sized room, great location.

Be ready to be confused on how to get to and from your room. You have to take 2 elevators and the floors are not the same level even though you never change floors. Our room was extremely warm when we arrived. Apparently the air was turned off by the staff. We arrived during extremely high temps.

"Discussed by the ROOMS I was given , ants everywhere, mould and the third room was dirty cobwebs insects by this time it was 1am in the morning . A member of staff ( night manager) told me its summer MADAM there are ants . I wouldn't stay there again."
