"Loved being able to stay in the original "castle" part of the building, but the layout for the lovely bathroom (in a round turret of the building) needs to be rethought. The claw-foot tub presented quite a problem for us mobility-challenged patrons to maneuver, and left a huge puddle behind the tub after showering. Lighting in the bathroom needs improvement for applying makeup, and putting the toilet paper holder on the back wall behind the toilet made it impossible to reach. Nowhere to hang hand towels for drying out after using. "
"We were attending a wedding at Virginia Lodge so the hotel was close by. The staff were extremely friendly, the bed comfortable and the place very tidy. Great views over the lake. Excellent breakfast but would have liked fruit salad to be available as it was in other places guests stayed."
"Just back from a 2 day break...Great hotel the staff are brillant and can not do enough for you from the check in staff to the barstaff and breakfast staff. We stayed for our anniversary and they had a lovely message with chocolate covered strawberries for us on arrival. Breakfast was fresh and again staff were great and very helpful. Had a small issue with the toilet informed the girl on reception and it was sorted witin minutes. We stayed here several times and have to say definitely one of the best. They done a lovely refurbishment on rowleys bar and not overpriced. Pint of guinness was €6 and great pint. We will see you soon 10/10..

"Secluded, bucolic location overlooking a picturesque lake. A Irish breakfast every morning in addition to yogurt and an assortment of fruits grown on property. You will be transported back in time. "
"We had a wonderful stay. Our Carriage House was fantastic. The grounds were beautiful with blooming flowers, shrubs and trees. We arrived and was greeted by Dave with a warm fire in the fireplace. Dave and Sue were quick to resond to any of our messages. I hope we are welcome back. "
