"This was a good place for us. we needed a sleep and shower here place. It like a mother in law sweet. Cute neighborhood. We were there for a weekend fishing trip so it was just that. They are still working on this place as a newer Vrbo I think they are on the right track. It was clean. It’s not flawless, but that’s the working on thing. AC Hotel St. Augustine Downtown

10/10 Excellent

"We LOVED our stay at AC Hotel in StA! Not only was it a beautiful facility, but it felt very safe and secure. We entered and were helped by Brenna at the front desk, who was absolutely superb at her job! She helped us get trolley tickets, answered all our questions, and made us feel so welcome. It was nice to have a bar available, in which I enjoyed a delicious draft with wonderful service from the bartender (I’m so sorry I didn’t get his name!). It was a surprise in the elevators that we had to use our card to go up, but it helped make us two women feel so much more secure in a town we’d never been to. It was much appreciated! The room was spotless, comfortable, spacious, and the beds slept nicely! It may not seem it by looking at a map, but we were located within a short walking distance to many places! We walked down to get coffee near Flagler College just a few blocks, and had multiple delicious eateries within just a block or two. For one, the trolley comes next door, and we loved the tour! We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely book again!"

"The hotel was nice, and the staff was professional, friendly, and courteous throughout our stay. Unfortunately, our room had a leak during the rain, which left it feeling a bit musty and humid. Thankfully, we were able to keep the air conditioning running at a lower temperature, which made the room much more comfortable. Since the weather outside was quite hot, we didn't mind the cooler temperature indoors. The front desk staff was especially accommodating and went out of their way to assist us, including providing excellent recommendations for places to visit in the area. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would definitely consider staying here again. We would simply request a different room next time."

"Check in was easy and the gentleman was beyond nice. Room was clean, beds comfortable, air conditioning worked well. Bathroom was a little tight and shower tiles had peeling paint. While clean overall, the room and bedding had a musty smell. Location was convenient and safe. The included breakfast was disappointing as the coffee was watered down and had no taste, eggs tasted a bit “off” and the sausage was tough, dry and overcooked. I guess I’d have fared better with the cereal, muffins and yogurt. Breakfast room staff were friendly and efficient. In fact, all staff I encountered were very nice. All in all I think I could have found nicer lodging in the same price range but it was a last minute trip and we really just needed a place to sleep."

Hampton Inn Jacksonville Beach/Oceanfront

"We choose this hotel because of it's location to UNF but we were disapointed with the cleanliness of the hotel. There was a dirty diaper by the garbage pail for 2 days and numerous staff walked by it and never disposed of it. The breakfast was not bad, there were many food options (waffles, eggs, sausage and cereal, etc) but seating area was tight and crowded. Our room was nice because it had a sliding door that opened to the beach and it was easy to get in and out especially with our dog. The little patio once you walk out the sliding door was just not cleaned enough to sit outside comfortably. I have to say the location was great we walked to restaurants for dinner but they definitely need to do something about the cleanliness of this hotel."
