"The Good: The hotel room was immaculately clean as were the halls. Having a whirlpool and waterfall shower with jets is something I've never experienced before. Staff were friendly and helpful when I had some card issues during checkout. Decent food nearby too so you aren't entirely car dependent, but it is a bit more suburban an area. The Bad: The only real downside of the property is the islands in the parking lot. If you are going to use artificial turf, there shouldn't also be weeds growing out of it. It's weird too since there are some nice trees on the border of the property. There's also a run down golf cart there that is just an oddity. That said, I don't exactly spend swaths of time in the parking lot when I stay in a hotel so this is a minor complaint. The Weird: This hotel seems to also has a motel complex with it and they share the property (I think). The motel side seemed to be having some parking lot work done, so it didn't interfere with me. It's just odd. Same with the washroom toilet being in a separate small room apart from the shower. That said, it works as I was a big fan of the shower/whirlpool part of the room."

"Unique hotel on an island, about 30 minutes from downtown Montreal. Close to great restaurants. Public transport to the city is not really a viable option. Property was pretty well maintained. The staff was kind. The continental breakfast was lovely. Plenty of parking - I would suggest travelling with a car."
