COME TO THE BEACH FOR SOME FRESH AIR AND PLENTY OF SUNSHINE! This recently updated multi-level condo is located in the heart of St. George Island so you can stroll to all the restaurants, shops, and lighthouse. Two balconies overlook the pool and beach where you can watch the kids playing in pool or dolphins swimming in gulf. This fully furnished condo is accessed via first floor entrance and up one flight of stairs to 2nd floor which includes the living area with TV and full-size kitchen with plenty of kitchen amenities if you choose not to enjoy the nearby restaurants . There are 2 bedrooms w/TV's and 2 full baths on 3rd floor w/ washer/dryer. There are some beach toys, beach towels, boogie boards and beach chairs available to use. The grounds are beautifully maintained with a fish cleaning station, kayak/bicycle racks and lighted boardwalks. You can walk to all of the island's restaurants and shops.

The island offers water sport rentals, bicycle rentals/path, fishing via surf, off pier in bay, or by charter boat, shopping, art galleries, antique shops and Eastern third of island is a beautiful state park. Nearby, Apalachicola has fun and trendy shops, restaurants, and museums to explore or take a day trip by boat to nearby St. Vincent Nature Preserve. Plenty to do or just relax and enjoy the scenery - your choice!

Amazing property!

Seashell Escape was beautifully decorated, well equipped, and exceptionally clean. We ate our meals on the balcony with a view. Easy walk to the beach! Great communication with Jenny!

Family vacation

Nice place to get away

Great place to go to just relax and enjoy the view from the condo, walk on the beach or sit around the pool. wanted to just get away for a few days to chill and that is exactly what we did.

Relaxing beach trip

We loved our stay at Seashell Escape. We had everything we needed. The best view from the balcony. It was so quiet and peaceful—-just what we needed. The manager was the sweetest and super patient with all my questions (no issues just questions).

Nice quiet condo on the beach

Nice place on a cute island. Steps away from a tiki bar and restaurant. Did some biking,hiking at the state park and relaxed on the beach. Lighthouse climb was fun. Would recommend it.

The property was perfect for our family of 5. Balcony on both levels with gorgeous views of the ocean. Property manager was very responsive and so kind. Everything was clean and it was beautifully decorated and had all the supplies/amenities we needed.

Good Time

Enjoyed the visit. Beautiful view of the Gulf. Condo very well appointed. Convenient to center of town. Generally very clean. Only suggestion is to change bath mats in both bathrooms. We would stay there again.

1st time to SGI....not the last !!!

The condo was so nice; perfect location, clean and great view. Even though there was some remodeling and improvements going on, it was quiet. We visit several locations along the Gulf of Mexico in Florida, and we really liked it. If flying in from the North Midwestern States it can be a long day, but I imagine driving in would be a breeze. We already booked for next year !!!

Awesome condo and location.

First time visitors to SGI. Fell in love with the island. Condo was nicely decorated, comfy bed and kitchen was stocked with all the essentials, plus a nice assortment of cookware and utensils. The property manager Jennifer was friendly and quickly brought us a new coffee pot because the one in condo didn’t work. A+ service. The balcony furniture is great and the view is nice. Sat on the balcony every morning sipping coffee and enjoying sounds of the ocean.

Just as Advertised

Great little condo. It was clean and working with Jenny was so easy. We were really late getting in but Jenny directed us to the local grocery store so we could get some food and essentials for the evening. The condo was very clean and the appliances were mostly updated. This was probably the most well stocked condo we have rented, and we travel every year. Working with Jenny and the on-site manager (Maddie) couldn't have been any easier. We loved the island and the lack of people on it. If we travel back to SGI, we will definitely stay at this condo again.

Loved SGI and Villa! Will be back :-)

Great location, villa was very clean, beautifully decorated & well stocked. Jenny was very attentive, kind and eager to help whenever needed. Our arrival was delayed due to the projected track of Debby & mandatory evac. for SGI. Jenny kept us informed & we were able to arrive by Monday evening. You can, without a doubt, rely on Jenny! Sunrises & views are amazing! Beach is beautiful & surf fishing was so fun! We loved cooking our fresh catches of trout & flounder. Pool was very refreshing! We made wonderful new friends at the villa & found everyone to be kind & respectful. We are thankful to have experienced such a lovely stay & will definitely return next year! :-)

Most relaxing

Absolutely the most relaxing peaceful vacation ever!! The island is beautiful, our condo had the perfect view of pool and ocean, and loved how close it all was. I didnt realize there were so many stairs inside the condo, but thankfully we are all pretty healthy and able. The condo manager, Jenny was so great! She called and let us check in early, she replied to my text immediately for any questions we had or anything we needed. The condo had everything we needed and more! My son enjoyed the sand toys all week, and the extra beach chairs were so convenient and nice to have. This condo is in a good location, we were able to walk to restaurants and shops, and we really enjoyed the lighthouse experience. My kids loved getting to go explore inside and climb to the top. We had the perfect weather and a wonderful week! We would definitely stay here again!!!

Loved our visit to SGI!

This was out first visit to SGI and we loved it! The condo was in a perfect location with a great view of the pool and beach. The property manager, Jenny, was so helpful. We got a flat tire and I emailed looking for advice on where to go for repairs and she called immediately and was willing to personally take our tire for repairs. No need- we were able to drive it over the bridge for a quick $20 repair thanks to Jenny's recommendation. The property was being beautified with landscaping while we were visiting and even the guys working outside were a pleasure - always saying hello with some fun conversation on the side. The friendliess of everyone we encountered only added to the comfort of this trip. Highly recommend! Note we did get a little tired of oysters and fried seafood (not something I'd ever expected to say bc YUMMMM! ha!) so it's nice to be able to cook a few meals in the well stocked condo. The Piggly Wiggly express near by was very well stocked for supplies.

It was the 'little' things...

The obvious big things were mentioned in other reviews but bear repeating... First, Jenny was very attentive to any needs or concerns we may have had before & during our stay. I felt if at any time we would have needed anything at all, she would have made it happen. However since everything was PERFECT we did not :) The location is supreme! We enjoyed being able to walk to the Blue Parrot, some of the shops & the Lighthouse. The condo was very clean and full of amenities. You couldn't ask for a more well-equipped kitchen. The bed & pillows were very comfy. All the furniture was situated to gain the most view to the ocean. However, it was the little things that will clinch our return to this property. The bath towels were luxuriously thick & fluffy. The beach towels were nice & big. There was a bench at the foot of the bed that was perfect for unpacking luggage & sitting on to get dressed. There were plenty of hooks on the doors to hang damp towels and suits. Lots of shelf space for toiletries. The beach chairs were super nice. Both balconies & deck furniture were very clean & well maintained. These things may seem obvious, but we've stayed in rentals offering rusty beach chairs, dingy dirty deck furniture, thin towels & no hooks to hang them on, etc. so we never take the little things for granted. I couldn't recommend this place more!
