"Our stay at this hotel was marred by a very unfriendly employee as well as some misconceptions. The breakfast is twenty Euros per person. While it was adequate, it was worth about 10. For 20, I would expect more as well as the possibility of freshly made eggs. On Monday, the croissant felt like day old bread or purchased from the supermarket pre-made. "Hotel is located on a hill overlooking the valley - wonderful sunrise views. Property is well maintained and rooms/bathrooms well appointed.
One issue for us - we may have been placed into an accessible room - the bathroom light was tied to the door of the bathroom opening - there was no way to control the light other than the door (I asked). If you use the bathroom at night, and do not want the light to come on - you had to pull your key out of the main switch at the wall which cut all power...
"Very smart hotel. Used it as a stopover on the way back from Austria. Good choice. Close to the motorway, and in a nice town. Lovely room. But the best part was a very nice restaurant, and we ate outside under the wisteria.. Very friendly service in the hotel, restaurant and breakfast room."
"Basically the hotel restaurant was not open. We checked in and the owner disappeared. We felt like we were the only ones in the hotel. It was a. Dry strange experience. We had a mini bar in our room, but basically it was a trip into nearest town 7k away to get provisions.
When we checked out in the morning, we were asked for payment . I explained and showed evidence that we had pre paid. Hotel clearly not used to bookings from Expedia. It was a little uncomfortable for all to say the least."

"We stayed in the Gasthaus for 2 nights. Check in is at the hotel which is about 200 yards away.
The room was spacious and very clean. Bed comfortable.
Breakfast is at the hotel but is extremely good and staff all very helpful.
We had our dog with us, so having a park literally at the back of the Gasthaus was amazing.
We would definitely stay here again.
