My check-in was very smooth. I had chosen to stay at this hotel for business.
I returned late night after a banquet I was a little surprised that the commercial toilet in my room backed up putting an inch plus of water across the entire floor. It even soaked into the carpet in my bedroom. I quickly shut the water off from the valve. I then called down to the front desk a couple of times to reach someone. I informed him that the toilet had backed up and I needed some assistance. He became instantly annoyed, stated that this was not his problem, and he wasn't interested in hearing it. I asked if I could at least get a plunger and a mop? I was informed that he would be willing to bring me a plunger but there was only one mop in the hotel and I wasn't going to get it. A few minutes later when he delivered the plunger he didn't want to enter and look at the bathroom. I finally insisted because I wanted him to see that it was not obviously clogged and how much water was involved. He still wouldn't go into the bathroom. Once he got to the bedroom door he could see the amount of water coming out of the bathroom floor into the bedroom. He stated that his only concern was that much water could flood down into the unit beneath me. He left and
