The rating of the staff is not for the reception, the bad rating is for the house keeping, what a bad service, the rest of the staff, their attention was very good. Another observation is to fix the bathroom door that does not close.

Staff was super helpful and friendly. I booked this last minute because of unforeseen circumstances on our trip back to Michigan from Disney and couldn’t have picked a better place!! Will definitely stay again if I’m in the area in the future!!

Rooms were not cleaned well upon arrival and not stocked with any towels or supplies. Bedding wasn’t the cleanest and staff smoked while doing laundry every morning. Pool was dirty and also not stocked with any towels.

It was meh. I stayed in two different rooms, one for my boys one for my hubby and I. The internet was a joke. The only way to get internet was outside the room which is nonsense. The guy from the front desk try to fix it turning the router off and on and it only lasted 2 minutes, after that no internet. The room where my husband and I stayed had this horrible strong urine smell that wont let me sleep. I let the front desk know they asked if I want to change room but that was an inconvenient for me so I ask to just be cleaned throughly. I think they only sprayed the room or something like that because the smell was still there. I don't think I will stay here again. It was not bad but definitely not the best.

Just across the street is a park with beach access. Shopping is half a mile away.
The property is older and it shows. Room was clean, breakfast was ok.

We our sorry about the noise, we have alot of workmen at the property at the present time, appreciate your business and hope to see you again, thank you
Positives: The front desk staff, cleaning staff and breakfast assistant were all very friendly and assisted us with whatever we needed. Our room was missing towels and a shower curtain and they were quick to respond! Breakfast was available for 3 hours and was very good with many options. Location was close and within walking distance to park with beach access. Quiet. Clean beds and towels. Pet friendly. No carpeting.
Negatives: The rooms are very dated and things definitely in need of replacement. People were smoking in an adjacent room and we had to keep our bathroom door closed to try to contain the smell. Metal frames around the beds to close off under the bed were right to the side of the bed and constantly hitting your feet against them, very noisy when you accidentally kicked them climbing into bed.

We were not able to stay at this property after we checked in. I am working with Expedia to be refunded. The front desk clerk, Michael was very helpful with our situation. when we entered our room we found active roaches in it. I don’t doubt that the hotel itself Isn’t nice. But I am unable to stay someplace where there are cockroaches.

Our Lobby and side doors our locked at 10pm and opened at 6am, we have someone on duty 24 hrs a day, if need arises to come into Lobby you can come to Window and issue can be addressed and entry provided if needed, we our sorry for any confusion

Expedia lists the property as pet friendly but Expedia or the hotel listing doesn’t indicate there is a $20 usd plus tax fee.
And when I tried to contact Expedia by all means on the app I could not get through to cancel or change my reservation. We were stuck paying more for a lot less quality than we usually get.

This is not a place to stay for a week. It's okay for a 1 or 2- night stay. I realize it is a 2-star hotel, but many improvements could be made. The staff was wonderful. I picked a room with a recliner because my husband has a bad back. The one we got seemed to be falling apart. The desk chair seemed to be broken and leaning to one side. The elevator inspection expired in August 2023. I probably will not stay there again. It's the shape of the hotel, not the staff. They were very accommodating.

Room floor was filthy. A barefoot walk from bed to bathroom resulted in black soles. Air conditioner was noisy. Ran out of hot water for shower. Breakfast was adequate.
On the positive side staff were friendly.

It looks clean, but don't look close. Renovation done half way. Example, new wood floor, but 1 inch gap near tub. Bathroom toilet paper holder ancient. Bed and pillows clean.

Time to step it up if you want Quality Inn to be around tomorrow:
1. Cockroaches
2. You can hear the folks next door as if they are in your own bedroom
3. Poor quality shampoos and soaps - get with the times to bring quality healthy products to your guests
All else is status quo services experienced since 1980s.

we have stayed in countless hotels and i must say that this one is by far the worst one . the bath and shower was held together with caulk and the breakfast area was very small enough room for about 6/7 people , trired to do an early check in and was told the fee was $25.00 . The check in was somewhat ok . We should check this place out try room 219, upon checkout told them about the mold on the ceiling they said its due to the weather

There is no excuse for rusty metals, when you say room service our you referring to Housekeeping ? I would assume yes as we don't have actual room Service for meals and snacks, either way we our sorry that your stay was not what you should have expected

Good location
Place is great if you're on a budget. Nice price for a great location. Place needs some updating and room smelled like mold or something. Not sure what it was, but made me sneeze a lot. But even with that, I still would return. Down the street from multiple restaurants.
Checked in Eric was awesome. Hotel clean great atmosphere. Checked out Mike was also awesome. Will be back on my way back home. Dog friendly
