Discover your own tropical pool paradise on Anastasia Island in Tiki Nest, a freshly updated and painted home with a beautiful pool and lush landscaping. Located right by The St. Augustine Alligator Farm and St. Augustine Lighthouse, and within walking distance to several restaurants and bars, this is a wonderful venue to relax and take in the beauty and history of St. Augustine. Rent bikes and enjoy a less than 1 mile ride to Anastasia Park, 3 miles to beach access, or a 1.5 mile ride over the Bridge of Lions to ride around the cobblestone streets of the Old City. Take in popular concerts in the St. Augustine Ampitheatre, just a 1 mile walk away. The fully fenced backyard will become your favorite spot for hanging out with family and friends, splashing in the pool, sunbathing, or resting in a hammock among the shady tropical foliage. Create your favorite drinks at the tiki bar.

Tiki Nest has a spacious kitchen and living space which features an open floor plan and large breakfast and dining area, perfect for family meals, conversation, and games. The back screened porch is a great place for a morning cup of coffee, or an afternoon chat. The hammock cabanas are a great place to curl up with a favorite book. You will find all you need to prepare meals at home in the fully stocked kitchen. Bedrooms are outfitted with crisp white linens, and bathrooms are supplied with soft white towels and start up bath amenities.

**PET POLICY: Only dogs are permitted, and must be approved by management PRIOR to booking. You must inquire with the number, weight, and breed to get approval before you book as some breed and size restrictions apply. A pet fee will be required upon approval.

Noise Ordinance: The city of St. Augustine has a noise ordinance that prohibits noise between the hours of 10:00pm-6:00am Sunday-Thursday, and 11:00pm-7:00am Friday-Saturday. Violations can result in a $500 fee.

We absolutely loved this place! Clean and cozy! We loved the location! Plenty of space for 6 adults, 2 toddlers, and an infant!

Pool Paradise in St. Augustine

The house is spacious and comfortable. We found everything we needed during our stay. One of our guests uses a walker and it was easy for him to navigate around. Because the walk-in shower has no grab bars, I would suggest adding a folding, plastic chair for someone at risk of falling.

Very nice home, a few disappointments. Out door furniture very dated & worn. Sheets on king were clean but stained. Primary had very thin window covering that made you visible to back yard! Didn’t feel the sliding doors were secure & needed dead bolts!

Great location

House was in a very quiet neighborhood yet close to the beach and historic St. Augustine. The host always got back to us quickly when there was an issue or question. The free passes to attractions were definitely helpful. The backyard is very tropical. It was cold when we were there so we didn’t get to use the pool. My only criticism would be what others have said such as patches on the walls and ceiling that should be painted and the outside furniture should be relaxed soon.

Great vacations at Tiki Nest

We enjoyed our stay at Tiki Nest. The backyard was very nice with the pool. The place has a big kitchen with new appliances and the house was spacious for a family of four and near from beaches and attractions. We give Tiki Nest a rate of 4 because the living room furnitures are not very comfortable and there is not a lot of light in the house.

Con: We felt the beds were uncomfortable the house needed updating. The backyard trees need trimming way to overgrown which makes a mess in the pool everyday. We cleaned up the area around the pool everyday.Beach umbrella and good chairs would be nice as well as pool floats.Pro: the neighborhood is very quiet and nice it is very convenient to downtown and many restaurants around it. A/c works great and was nice and cold. Good communication we were able to get pool cleaned when we needed it.

A week at the beach

We had a great time at this property. It’s a great location short drive to downtown or over to Anastasia State park and Anastasia Island to get to the beach. The pool in the backyard is a great hang out spot with Bluetooth speakers to connect to, hammocks present too. House was plenty large enough for wife and 2 kids plus my in laws with us. Overall highly recommend.

Great location

This was a great location for getting into the historical district or out to the beaches. It is located close to the lighthouse into the alligator farm. The alligator farm has a shuttle into the historical district. The house was clean and the posting is accurate. The kids enjoyed the pool in the evening and we enjoyed sitting outside in the screened in porch and on the patio. The backyard is fenced. There’s adequate parking in front of the home. Check in was easy. This is a great spot for a family. Neighborhood is safe and friendly, and we went on several walks. We enjoyed a very nice breakfast restaurant nearby. We would stay again if we return to the area

Enjoyed our Stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Tiki Nest despite a bad storm that came through and lingered a few days. The home is older but has some nice updates. We were greeted with a kind note and some coupons to local eateries. This home is about a 10 minute drive over the bridge to St. Augustine. We also took a short walk to the lighthouse. So much to do and see! The pool offered a nice change of pace but sadly was not cleaned or tended to during our stay. We were given an early check in (45 minutes) which was very helpful. Unfortunately, there was trash left under a bed and in the tiki bar outside. The house did not seem as clean as I would have expected. There were also ants in some of the rooms. We did a lot of cooking and would have appreciated updated pans and a toaster. There were plenty of spices, plates, and utensils for our family of four. We appreciated the linens and towels, too! Because of the rain, we played a few rounds of the St. Augustine monopoly game…thank you for providing it! I think this place would be an absolute gem with some more updates and a bit more cleaning. The location is wonderful, TVs were great, and spacious rooms were appreciated!

Great house

This was a great house for my husband and me, our 4 kids, and my parents. It was very spacious and we had plenty of room. The pool was awesome and kept kids entertained when we weren’t out doing things. Loved it!

Beautiful Property

Fantastic home with screened in porch and pool in backyard. Close to downtown. Only negative comments I have are dingy door moldings and floors, but it’s the beach. Clean bathrooms, sheets and towels, and nice kitchen. I would definitely rent this property again. Really enjoyed the screened porch and back pool area.

It was great. Except bottom of pool was dirty and had nothing to clean it with. Was able to clean debris floating on top. So needless to say, the girls wouldn’t swim in the pool because of it. As a general contract for 30 years, I noticed things. Upkeep needed just a little help Screen porch siding rotting out. Light bulbs needed in place. Etc. also needed more towels. 4 towels were just not enough for two teenage girls and their father. Besides those three things, the location was fantastic. The house was super nice and everything needed to cook with was there. Would stay there again

A Tropical Oasis

This vacation property was just as advertised. The back yard we just wonderful and a tropical oasis. The 3 dogs greatly enjoyed chasing a squirrel and a couple little kizards and wevenjoyed letting them wander in the fully fenced back yard. The pool was too cold to get in much more than knee level as St. Augustine was experiencing an unusually very cold winter. The beds and rooms were comfortable, kitchen appliances were all fairly new as were the pots and whewhen we were missung pans.

Private Nature Oasis

We LOVED our week at the Tiki Nest! The fully fenced-in backyard is lush and private with mature trees and plants; perfect for nature-lovers AND our two labs. We usually stay at an oceanfront condo, but this was even better for the peaceful poolside setting.

Perfect location. Close to everything including the alligator zoo. I had never heard of it but was happy that I visited it. The house was clean and well decorated. Would suggest a few more plates, glasses & mixing bowls.

Nice 3BR 2BA house in a quiet neighborhood about a mile from downtown St. Augustine. We enjoyed being walking distance to restaurants away from the downtown area. Our trip was between Christmas and New Years and the town was overcrowded.
