Our new pool with heated spa is complete!

Welcome to the Shore Thing Beach Retreat! This beautifully renovated home has 4 bedrooms. Upstairs you will find the kitchen, living room, and 2 bedrooms (both with a king bed). Our kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook a meal for your family. You can relax on the comfortable sofas after a long day of exploring downtown or the beach. Downstairs there is one bedroom with two queen beds (and an en suite bathroom) and one king bedroom.

This property is located one block off the beach, with a short walk to the dune walkover. It's also not far from the historic downtown area.

The history of St. Augustine is incomparable with almost any other on our coast. Founded in 1565 it is chock full of amazing places to visit, from the oldest house to the first schoolroom, to the impenetrable fort built by the Spanish. Lincolnville, just south of downtown St. Augustine takes you on a walking tour of the history of the civil rights movement noting where Martin Luther King stayed on numerous occasions. Needless to say, there’s also so many unique shops, and the restaurants are so varied and truly have an international flavor! There are things to do no matter the weather! You can take a free boat ride to Fort Matanzas and learn the history about the battles fought. Further south is Marineland where you can swim with dolphins!

The St. Augustine and St Johns County area have a great variety of golf courses for players of every level and skill. There are always concerts at St. Augustine Amphitheatre and events at Francis Field as well. You will never run out of things to do here in St. Augustine. It is probably one of the most beautiful places in all of Florida, and for sure one of the most photographed! Come and see for yourself!

The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you. Garbage and recycling must be taken out to the street Sunday night for Monday morning pickup.

We don't offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. Please purchase trip insurance for your stay if this is a concern.

Family vacation

We come to st. Augustine every year with our extended family. This house was one of the best houses we have booked yet. The short walk to the beach was great! The house was spacious and comfortable for everyone. We would stay here again!

Beautiful home with plenty of space. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house. It seemed to have everything you would need if you were cooking in. It has easy access to the beach, and it was a great beach for walking. Easy drive into St Augustine for dinner, and to check out the city. Several state parks in the area if you enjoy activity.

Block from beach

The house is a short walk to the beach and made for ease of an enjoyable beach day. Many restaurants, grocery stores, are all within 10 minutes and an easy drive. The house was comfortable and spacious for the group. The owners were responsive and kind during our stay. We would stay here again.

Home is spacious and exactly as decribed, very clean and comfortable. Only recommendation i would make would be to replace the singleserve keurig with a larger dispenser, just a personal preference

Great access to the beach- comfortable beds & plenty of room for all! Kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils,glasses,coffee k-cup, etc… Showers were spacious with plenty of hot water (5 teenage girls in the house!). I would definitely stay again & recommend!

Quick Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The house was nice and comfortable. Large tv's in each room. It took us about 5 minutes to walk to the beach. We'll definitely keep this rental on our list of vacation spots.

Fall Vacation

The property was nicely located. South of St. Augustine show you could be away from all of the traffic. Lots of things to do in downtown St. Augustine. The rental was great. Nice having 2 bedrooms upstairs that had king beds and private bathrooms. Large flat screen TV. Very nice place.

Such a fabulous week!

The house had everything we needed to cook our meals and plenty of space to eat! The property was clean and spacious for our entire family. A beautiful porch gives an option for outdoor dining. The walk to the beach was so easy! Even with a toddler!

Great Birthday Get Away

The home was adorable and a short two block walk to a beautiful beach. We had 8 adults in our party and there was plenty of room for everyone. For 8 adults we could have used a few more towels and a little surprised shampoo/conditioner/soap - bodywash weren't included in the showers, but otherwise we had everything we needed.

House was even better than the listing. Our toddler loved the back porch and we didn’t have to worry about stairs. Everything we needed in the kitchen. We are a picky group about beds and pillows, all were excellent. One of our best ever rentals.

Florida Girls needed to visit & relax!!!!

A short stay to visit local friends. I recommend longer!!!! This home was amazing with split sleeping and open kitchen, living and dining area. The veranda surrounds the entire upper floor and was a great area to hangout. So relaxing and just a quick stroll to the beach. Sun rise was unbelievable! Will be staying here again!!!!

Clean comfortable home almost on the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay in this house approximately a five minute walk from the beach. Very comfortable in walking the quiet neighborhood each day. Close to birding/historical/beach activities in the area. House was clean and temperature comfortable. Great wi-fi, well stocked kitchen for cooking, great bed, large TV with good channel selection. Parking on site was ample and the property owners kept in contact with us before/during/after the visit to ensure we were enjoying our stay. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Great Place

There were five adults, and we were all impressed with how clean the house was on our arrival. It is nicely decorated and comfortable. It suited our needs. Good location to the beach which was beautiful and so was the water, many options for restaurants, and not far to St. Augustine Old Town. We would recommend it. We do not need the manager David during our stay, but he was responsive immediately when I messaged him on our arrival and departure.
