Enjoy your stay @ 1st Street Retreat, a newly updated DOG FRIENDLY open concept studio apartment with private entrance and fenced in yard. Location is 1 block to the beach and walking distance to all your favorite restaurants like the famous Taco Shop right on the corner, Mango Mangos, Beach Comber, Café Eleven, Sunset Grille, Salt Life and the best ice cream in town Cone Heads.

Get in the car and take a quick 7 minute car ride to historic downtown and enjoy all it has to offer.


The outside retreat consists of outdoor shower which is great after a day at the beach with your dog, Propane BBQ, table and chairs, a propane fire pit for those cool relaxing evenings which goes perfect with a glass of wine.
We also provide beach chairs, beach towels, and beach cart.

Inside you will enjoy the beach feel of the open concept apartment with free wireless internet, Smart TV for streaming. Dog friendly floors, King size bed, kitchen with stainless steel appliances which consist of oven, microwave, Keurig coffee machine, toaster oven, blender, dishes, cups, bowls, silverware etc. Bathroom with walk in shower and all amenities you need.

We allow up to 2 dogs, there is a dog fee of $75.00

All you need to do is pack your clothes and your dog and come and enjoy our little retreat.

We had a very nice time in St Augustine staying in this exceptional studio apartment. It was very private with a fenced yard for our dogs. Everything you could imagine was provided, other than food. My wife liked the frying pans so much she ordered a set as soon as we got home. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance and the beach was just across the street. The only negative thing I can think of was having to leave. Thanks for having us!

A wonderful getaway

The accommodations were perfect for us and our dogs. Being able to have the back yard to ourselves made it very easy to let our "girls" come in and out as needed. Location right across from the beach was easy access and we had some of the Best tacos from Taco Shop right on the corner, so good we had them both nights :-)

Great Location

The property was spotless and well appointed and maintained. The location was excellent, there was only a short walk to the beach and there plenty of food options within walking distance. All in all a superb experience!

We love the accommodations and have come for several years. Dog friendly with huge back yard and dog lawn to boot! Lisa, our host, is friendly and very thoughtful in details. We look forward to coming again next year with our fur baby!

Adorable 1 bedroom apt, close to beach

My friend and I traveled to St Augustine for a wedding. This 1 bedroom apartment was clean, quiet and very nicely furnished. It was a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and a coffee shop. We only stayed 2 days but loved it here. Love that the owners allow dogs too. We couldn’t bring ours on this trip but will remember the dog friendliness of this vrbo next visit to St Augustine. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
