About this property
1880 Victorian In Heart Of Downtown...charming and cozy
Best of both worlds with upscale renovations and old St Augustine charm. This Victorian home was built in 1880 and is located within the heart of the Historic District. A few years ago, I fully renovated the private residence into 3 separate apartments, each fully contained with its own private entrance, kitchen and full bath. This newly renovated first floor apartment has 1 queen bed in a private bedroom along with a sectional couch in the living room. Bikes offer you the opportunity to leave the car parked and see the city by walking or riding. Bikes are available from a bike share rack one block away and a great alternative for transportation around the city.
Enjoy the many restaurants to choose from all within a five minute walk from your front door. Additionally, the shopping and sightseeing is just around the corner. Plan to spend the day sightseeing and walk back to unwind on the front porch with glass of wine before getting ready for the evening fun. Off site parking is provided free of charge at the City Parking Garage and there are many fee options next to the house.
If you've come to enjoy St Augustine's beautiful beaches you're only a ten minute drive away. Crescent Beach lies to the south a few miles for those looking to relax on a quiet beach, or join the crowds on St. Augustine Beach with a fishing pier and many great restaurant options.
Overall, this property is a great value and the perfect location to spend your vacation. Hope to see you soon!
Located near the beach, this apartment is in St. Augustine Historic District, a neighbourhood in St. Augustine. St. George Street and St. Augustine Premium Outlets are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Anastasia State Park and Vilano Beach. This first-level apartment is located right in the heart of St. Augustine. One parking space in a nearby garage is provided. But we never needed the car - we were able to easily walk to dining, shops, and attractions! It is one block away from St. George Street, which is a pedestrian-only street for part and has lots of shopping and dining options - and lots of ice cream shops!! The apartment is very comfortable and has all the conveniences of home - toiletries in the shower, dish soap, access to washer/dryer. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back!
Everything was as expected. The location was within walking distance of everything we want d to do and see. Greg was quick to respond to questions. A great place to stay!
We had a fantastic stay here! The house was perfectly located in downtown St. Augustine, so we were able to walk to restaurants and shops multiple times a day. We also drove to the beach daily, so we did have to make the walk to retrieve the car (about a 10 minute walk) each time we did that. The unit was very spacious for a one bedroom place, and we appreciated the keyless entry. Thanks so much for a great stay!
Location was amazing you could walk anywhere. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Host was very quick with responding to a question I had regarding parking. Definitely would stay again.
Amazing location and room. Host was very attentive and took care of every need. Fifth or sixth time we’ve stayed here and will always try to book here first.
Everything about this stay was awesome. Greg happily answered questions before we visited and had good suggestions. It was a very busy time (Christmas), but the walk to city parking was easy and took us through areas that were fun to explore. If you're wanting to stay in town, this is the perfect spot. Close and very comfortable, but no loud crowds. Oh, and a nice bottle of wine, to boot!
Great location! Very clean and everything you need right there. Bed was so comfortable! Would definitely stay again. We had free parking but wished the lot was closer in case we might need the car. It was fine though because we were able to walk everywhere! Would stay here again! Definitely recommend.
My husband and I just wanted a quick little get away and this place was perfect. Walking distance to almost everything and it was comfortable. We would stay here again.
Our family enjoyed every moment together in this lovely home. It was perfect for our group! The home was clean and welcoming. The host was very kind, responsive and followed up after check in to ensure our stay was going well.
Home was very clean and inviting. Close to everything no need for a car. Everything you needed except for food was provided. Got a chance to meet the owners and they were the type of people I could call friends. Five stars. John
