Lake Nelson a picture perfect place

Loved this little gem. Clean, spacious, all the amenities of a lodge. Friendly staff, wonderful rooms, wood everywhere, authentic, charming.

We really enjoyed our time there. The house is lovely and very well equiped. The only negative is that taking into account that cleaning is required, 10 am departure is too early.

You can spend an afternoon browsing the exhibits at Classic Boat Museum in St. Arnaud. Stroll along the area's lakeside or simply enjoy its restaurants.

Biased by fond memories of childhood 60 years ago. Area still retains beauty and unspoiled by the outside world.
Lovely quiet town, very little there in terms of options for food etc
