From the friendly staff, to the well appointed and cozy rooms to the fabulous onsite restaurants, this hotel checks all the boxes. "We extended our stay here. The staff is helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. This is a great location for a walkable distance to the French quarter as well as a number of restaurants.
The breakfast is simple but good. Ceiling fan and air conditioner keep the room cold. A water kettle and cups are also available in the room as well as basic toiletries.
Worth a stay. Lovely building and rooms. The wala need some fresh paint, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay. "

"You could do a lot worse ! This hotel was perfectly adequate for our purpose. It lies just outside White Town. Crossing the road by foot from the white town side to the hotel side of the road like any Indian city is not for the faint of heart. Breakfast was standard fare for South India. If you have a driver then you can be dropped off near the promenade which is pedestrianised and is simply marvellous for this very reason.We didn't eat in as there were a lot of eateries around.Pondy is very humid in August so the room AC provided a welcome respite from this humidity .If I was staying in Pondy again, I would be happy to stay here again."
