Clean home on South end of Hubbard Lake

The cabin was very clean, had a cozy feel and a great location. The neighbors were friendly and the host was extremely accommodating. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent stay

We recently stayed at the cabin, and it was incredibly cozy. We particularly loved the fireplace, and the beds were very comfortable. The place was clean, and the host's communication was excellent. If we had any questions, he was always readily available to provide answers.

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our stay and were satisfied with our decision to stay here. It was a peaceful neighborhood and a beautiful area with wildlife everywhere. The cabin had all our basic needs with a friendly owner who was available anytime we needed help.

Nice Place Great Lake

Enjoyed a week stay to have fun on and fish the lake. May flies came out so fishing was not good but we had fund on the lake and visited with family. Cabin is a very short walk to the water and dock with host that's part of the rental which was nice since we brought our boat. Shower has great water pressure with plenty of hot water.

Good accomodations for rainy day

Our weekend had a rainy day so we stayed inside and enjoyed the fireplace and cabin. Didn't get out on the lake but it looked like a great lake for boating and fishing.

Beautiful cabin on the lake!

We really enjoyed our stay, the property location was perfect with a beautiful view of the water. Neighbors all seemed very friendly. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. We had plenty of space for our family of 5. The owner was super friendly and helpful with getting us settled in and making sure we were happy with our stay. We will definitely be back in the future.

Comfortable cabin

Had a nice weekend staying in this cabin. It's very clean with plenty of room. The kitchen is bright and inviting and it was nice to sit at the table to enjoy morning coffee. The ceiling fans, variety of lighting options and abundance of outlets were a bonus. The owner is flexible and helpful if you have any questions. First time to Hubbard Lake - beautiful lake and friendly people.

“It’s a cabin”

It’s very simple. It’s a log cabin on lake! It’s simple and nice and not over decorated with a bunch crap that’s says, Welcome to the Cabin or other cabin themed wall art.

Cozy

We found this cozy cottage when searching for a place on Hubbard Lake. It’s right up the road from the lake with lake access. Our little dog loved the back yard where he could explore and run around. The kitchen is well-stocked and the gas fireplace quickly warmed up the place when our Michigan weather dipped to 45°. We truly enjoyed our stay and even found two restaurants and a corner market for all our food and shopping needs!!

Quaint and Rustic

Returned to the Hubbard Lake area with my spouse for a High School Reunion. Found this listing and it was perfect for our needs. While it was only my wife and I, there was plenty of room for more. The amenities were plenty for preparing meals if you want or simple snacking. The proprietor was great to work with in terms of communication. I would highly recommend this property!!

Perfect cabin- a hop, skip and a jump from the lake!!!

I love this little cabin, and that we were only two houses away from the lake! The frontage line on the lake was a perfect spot for me to walk my two faithful companion, Zoe and Chili my Chihuahuas! The neighborhood is residential, and I enjoyed talking to the kind neighbors. The cabin has all of the essentials everything you need to make meals. There’s also a few restaurants nearby and the local market that has fun, souvenirs and such. I love this lake! You will not go wrong by renting this beautiful slice of heaven :-)

Fantastic getaway

First time using vrbo. Prior to booking i had to send Bill a question regarding the cabin. He was very quick and accurate with his response. The booking process was so easy i thought i had screwed it up. The cabin is adorable. The log cabin design is very comforting. The inside is super clean and has everything needed to enjoy a quiet relaxing vacation. The beds and linens are super comfortable. The lake is a very short 2 minute walk, two houses away. While checking it out we were able to meet Bill who was very friendly and asked if we needed anything. Unfortunately the weather didnt want to cooperate but we were able to explore Alpena and some other areas and then enjoy the evenings sitting by the lake after the rain stopped. If you are looking for a quiet and comfortable vacation steps away from a very very nice lake then Bill's cabin is absolutely the way to go. Thanks again Bill and we will absolutely be back.
