"It was a lovely cabin maybe a bit small but most are. Its proximity to the main road was a bit challenging. Also we weren’t informed notice of the location up the hill until a few days before our trip date and by then it was too late to cancel. Furthermore if you choose this property be prepared for a winding road up the hill. Overall a pleasant experience at the property itself with spectacular views."

"Accessibility to park and restaurants convenient. The cabin was very tidy and clean inside. Cabin definitely needs some repairs to help keep the flying and crawling night insects out. A good sealing around wall AC and door frames is needed. Old windows in bedrooms. One window doesn’t close all the way so flying little bugs come in through the screens."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Mountain View Getaway. It's a bit off the beaten track but that's what I was looking for. The snow made the area really magical as there were hardly any other people around while we hiked the area. My kids loved sledding in the little hills in the yard. "After hiking in Yosemite and Sequoia for six days, we were very excited to soak in the hot tub on this property. Unfortunately, it was dirty with a wide band of scum along the upper edge of the water. Needless to say we did not use it. That was very disappointing as the inside of the home was pristine and very comfortable."

"We spent a week up at this beautiful cabin. Originally we had planned to go to Sequoia and King's Canyon National Parks, but decided that a 2.5 to 3 hr drive each way was a bit far. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the local area. Don't miss the Trail of 100 Giants! It was the Sequoia experience without the crowds. The owner was very quick to respond to questions and other needs.
