Beautiful lodge. Great location. Plenty of guest parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast deal with nearby restaurant. Free town shuttle stop right in front of the Driftwood!
Property was very nice and close to Zion. We had a standard queen room and it was HUGE. It was the size of two regular hotel rooms, we were shocked. The only hiccup is that the room wasn’t ready at 4… we had to wait about 10 minutes which is a bummer after a long day in Zion, but we would stay here again.
Staff recommended Ocar’s for $8 breakfast and $50 bike rents. That worked out very well. The Kings restaurant was very good the first night, however it was closed Sunday and Monday.
We paid a little extra for a “Mountain View” room and felt it was well worth it! We had a private balcony which was perfect for early morning coffee. The beds were comfortable, and the staff members were quite helpful! We did not think we would need the guest laundry, but it came in quite handy after two days of hiking in unseasonable rain, with much of our clothing muddy & wet. The location is also quite convenient to one of the Springdale shuttle stops. We would have used the hot tub, but it didn’t seem as appealing in the rain. If we return to the Zion area, we would definitely stay at the Driftwood Lodge again!
