"Very pleasant staff, very clean surroundings. Room a little tight. All furniture in room & dining room seemed homemade, and the lighting in dining room (Steam Punk) also seemed to be homemade. Food not great, (chicken comprised of 1 very thin slice (in uniform shape) crumbed & fried."
"Tolles Zimmer mit wunderbarer Aussicht, sehr nettes Personal, bzw. Inhaberfamilie, großer sauberer Pool und als Ausgangsort für Erkundungen in der Toskana ideal."
"This was a nice roomy place with plenty of room. It is within driving distance of Pisa and the beach and a few other local towns as well. There was plenty of parking as well. I would highly recommend having a car to be able to stay here though. It had a nice mini kitchen with fridge and microwave, it would have been nice if it had a freezer as well. We really like staying here."
"The front desk person was fantastic. I think his name was Massimo(Max). He sent us lots of information before our stay and was super friendly and welcoming when we arrived. We had a beautiful suite with a wonderful view of the sunset. We were actually thinking of changing our itinerary and staying another night. "
"In general a very basic hotel. I booked a Junior Suite (as the booking price then was the same as a standard room, but bormally it’s not). The extra space though did not contribute in any way to more comfort, actually just a greater distance to the small and worn out bathroom. Don’t get fooled by the pictures, the “decor” in the room not very appealing.
Breakfast was the worst I had so far in Italy.
My Spa appointment was cancelled by them half an hour after it was confirmed.
Pool-area was...

"We were severly disappointed in the correspondence of property management. We specifically stated that we did not have a car for transportation. After arriving at the train statiin, there were no taxis available. Luckily a nice lady from the restaurant gave us a ride to the property. After that no taxis, bus, or Uber would come get us.I had to pay 300 to order an Uber for the next morning to take us to Pisa. We reached out to the property management, they sent an emergency number equivalent to 911. The stairs to the beach were impassable. The door knob fell off inside the property when we opened the front door for the first time. And there were half used rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom with no backups, and the sink drain was clogged. The WIFI didn't work either.I have tried to get a refund for this horrid experience, but was declined. The house itself was beautiful, if I have one nice thing to say. My mother is 72 years old and I didn't feel it was safe to try to walk the narrow switchback road, with no shoulder to try to walk 25 minutes to the next small town for help.I am a General Manager of a fine dining establishment and I realize sometimes things go wrong. However, this listing is an outright lie when it comes to transportation and saftey for the guests."
"I would like to start this review saying that is my fourth time in Italy and this time I am spending over two weeks here. I have been in 3 starts and 4 starts hotels that I didn’t feel this much comfortable and well served. Everything from the beginning to the very end was perfect. Best in class in service, politeness, kindness, great bed sheets, spacious bedroom, and a speechless breakfast. Everything was fresh made for every customer one by one. Also, the pastries come from the owners bakery and OMG! They taste amazing. I will make sure I recommend this hotel for everyone and for sure I will come back too. "
Tour a historic castle and its vineyard and visit its wine bar and restaurant. This part of the coast is also a nice spot for swimming, photography and hiking.
