The location and views were perfect. However, the cabin was just ok. It needs a good deep cleaning. Seemed pretty dirty with several cob webs inside and outside. You definitely pay for the location and not the cabin.

Could use some updates

The listing says it’s the honeymooner but it’s now the foxden so it was a little difficult to find. It also says that no pets are allowed. We got there and had to put a blanket on the couch because of the amount of dog hair and even had to go get medicine for our allergies. Tried texting a few times to maybe get a vacuum for the hair but no response. I’ve stayed here once a year but never this cabin. Besides this the stay was decent. Could use some updates.

Great Lake property!

Overall, we had a wonderful time staying at this cabin and being at Skiatook Lake. The property could have been cleaner, such as decks being wiped for cobwebs, stove being wiped off, floors swept, spraying for wasps (nests on back porch area). These were minor details that did not impact our stay greatly, and we would definitely go back to the property again. Beautiful views of the lake and you can walk right down to the water. They also do provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in addition to linens which was great! Overall, I would highly recommend!

OK Getaway

Easy booking, responsive host, clean cottage. Surpassed expectations. The cottage is close to the water and was a perfect getaway weekend location. The area is lovely and so close to Tulsa.

It has been our 2nd time staying here and We love this place

We had a bit of a rocky start with the cleanliness of the cabin. After bringing it to the attention of the “Adult staff” they went above and beyond to make sure things were taken care of and we were happy. Thank you Evergreen marina.

Not as expected or what I was told

We showed up and the ac was out. Maitanice apparently was there several times this week which I found out later. I have 3 young kids. Cottage was 90 degrees. Called management and they went to town to get 2 fans. At that point we were loading up for a hotel. Then we got moved to a new different cottage. This was way better but we lost whole day. Lost money on kayak rental for day 1 bc everyone was so hot and frustrated we couldn't do it. Then boat rental went wrong. I had booked double decker boat with slide 45 days in advance..go to get and its rented out to someone else! No propane in firepit or gas grill. Had to walk to 6 other cottages not in use to find propane tank. Then little things like no light bulbs in lamps. Says you have satelite tv but it was out too. I expressed all this to management and they did not care.

Amazing get away. The check in process after hours was very easy. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. The road at night was a little scaring, but we were warned! So quiet and peaceful! We will be back for sure! Cannot praise enough!

Wonderful cottage with a great view on a terrifying access road.

The cottage was great and the view of the lake was wonderful with gorgeous sunsets but we will definitely not come back. With all the wet weather, I was unable to sleep nights worrying whether we would be able to get back out the next day on the steep, muddy, deeply rutted access road. Muddy ruts that deep on a road that steep are unacceptable. Any road literally on the edge of the lake needs to be paved.

cottage was great but the driveway was terrible.

The cottage was great we enjoyed our stay very much. The driveway needs to be worked on and did not like the fact that only 1 vehicle could attempt to drive on it. We could not watch anything upstairs because there was something wrong with the direct tv. We also tried to turn on the air the first night because it was very warm inside and it would not come on.

The property is breathtaking!!!!

The word AMAZING is an understatement! From the time we arrived, everyone was so warm and welcoming. I am one to ask a ton of questions and not once did any of them go unanswered. Jessi is very professional and even came on her off day to assist us when we needed her. We visited Lakeside Grill for lunch and it was wonderful! Our waitress, Brittany, was attentive and ensured we enjoyed our experience. We will DEFINITELY be back really soon to visit! The Honeymooner cottage is great for couples and the Lakeview retreat is excellent for couples and/or large families. You will NOT be disappointed booking here!
