Una struttura nel cuore di Spello che è rimasta ferma agli anni 70. Camere arredate con mobili di quell'epoca e per di piu rovinati. Il letto di una scomodità come pochi. Non parliamo poi del bagno che meriterebbe una ristrutturazione da cima a fondo. La cosa che sicuramente pesa di piu è il fatto di aver trovato un wc palesemente vecchio in quanto si vedevano chiamaramente due strisce color arancio che scendevano in verticale, segno questo di un bagno inutilizzato e non pulito frequentemente. La pulizia lasciava molto a desiderare in quanto era presente polvere. In una location cosi bella come Spello è davvero una delusione trovare una struttura in queste condizioni perché con un ammodernamento sostanziale potrebbe diventare uno dei fiori all'occhiello del paese.

A building in need of a facelift

There are awards from 20 years ago hanging around, I guess this is when the hotel got its four stars. Since then the building got pretty shabby, especially the bathrooms. The breakfast is the only thing that matches the stars claim, I’d say. We received no “parking instructions” message like other Italian hotels send couple of days in advance, and it’s badly needed! On the positive side - good location, comfortable beds, air conditioning.

Excelente localização

Hotel com excelente localização, em pleno centro histórico de Spello, instalado num edifício de época totalmente preservado e com comodidades de conforto compatíveis com os dias atuais. Cama confortável, ducha com bom volume de água, vista espetacular. Funcionários muito atenciosos, café da manhã farto e bem servido.

L'hotel è in ottima posizione, ma le condizioni della struttura lasciano a desiderare, sarebbe necessaria una significativa sistemazione. In camera abbiamo trovato la maggior parte delle lampadine bruciate, alcune prese elettriche non funzionanti, il portasapone della doccia rotto, l'arredamento obsoleto, il frigobar sguarnito. In una delle due notti il condizionatore ha smesso di funzionare, non è stato possibile riavviarlo ed al mattino ci è stato comunicato che si è trattato di un problema generale sull'impianto elettrico dell'hotel, che si ripete spesso. Colazione soddisfacente

Gutes Hotel in toller Umgebung

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt. Für den Parkplatz bekommt man vom Hotel eine entsprechende Erlaubnis. Die Rezeption hatte uns super geholfen. Das WLAN war von unterschiedlicher Qualität. Abends ging in unserem Zimmer leider gar nichts mehr. Generell ist das Hotel ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber die Umgebung macht das mehr als wett. Spello ist wirklich wunderbar und um dort gut zu übernachten, ist das Hotel passend.

Perfetto per una visita a Spello

La camera aveva la tenda rotta che non si chiudeva e una lampada senza paralume. La cassaforte non funzionava. In bagno non c'era spazio per appoggiare nulla. Letto comodo. Pulizia della stanza medio-bassa. Colazione buona e posizione perfetta per una visita a Spello. Prezzo caro giustificato dai giorni dell'Infiorata. Hotel potenzialmente splendido con spazi comuni rimarchevoli, ma ha bisogno di un po' di manutenzione. Concierge cortese.

Bellissimo palazzo storico nel centro del borgo.

Gia` stati un'altra volta, bellissimi ambienti affrescati, silenzioso, tutti i comfort. Un problema: bagno pieno di muffa, nero tra le piastrelle, muffa sul soffitto: come puo` un albergo a 4 stelle ignorare questa situazione?

Fancy hotel in a delightful small town

Really a high quality hotel with large comfortable rooms and beautiful facilities. Sitting rooms were particularly outstanding as was the breakfast. My only complaint is the hard beds.

Ideal base in Spello.

This is an ideal hotel to use as a base to explore Spello: right in the middle of the town, it is a former palazzo with frescoed ceilings and a real sense of former opulence in its public rooms.teh staff are friendly and helpful.

Good choice in Spello

The hotel is perfectly situated, the room was nice, and the staff is very friendly. Only negative is they are currently digging up the street in front of the hotel so getting in and out is a bit cumbersome. But still a great choice if you are visiting Spello.

Pensavo di aver prenotato in un quattro stelle.... Forse una l'ha persa un po di tempo fa. TV a dir poco arcaica Phone bruciato sicuramente per cortocircuito ma "funzionante". Condizionatore?? Una lavatrice. Pensavo di aver prenotato in un 4 stelle. Ps Il personale della reception impari almeno il numero telefonico interno della reception... Strano ma vero!!! Spello comunque è carina. Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per una sola notte, e ne ho approfittato per visitare la cittadina di Spello. L'hotel e' sito in un palazzo nobiliare, sulla via principale del paese. Le camere sono spaziose, ma la manutenzione non e' granche'. Buona la colazione a buffet, del televisore in camera eviterei di parlare (anni '90). Ci sono difficolta' di parcheggio, e il personale dell'hotel non ha sufficenti pass per la sosta per tutti gli occupanti, quando l'albergo e' pieno. La cittadina e' carina, piena di ristoranti caratteristici, e per tutte le tasche. Tutto sommato ho visto degli hotel migliori per un quattro stelle.
