About this property
Loft Apt - Corte dei Mesci - By Just Houses SRL
It is located in 'enchanting Specchia, ranked among the most beautiful hamlets in Italy.
Small apartment within a courtyard.
The 40 m² structure consists of a Kitchen equipped with all the necessary equipment, a bathroom with bathtub, and a double bedroom; thus, it can accommodate 2 persons.
Additional facilities include TV, Air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. The outdoor area is shared.
Between the 10th and 12th centuries, the term "Court" denoted the group of family members, aristocrats, and servants who gathered around the lord.
The court is called "La corte dei Mesci," or the court of the masters. Inside there
are five lodgings dedicated to five different trades of antiquity.
In this accommodation, we present "U Marinaru", the craftsman specializing in fishing in the Salento dialect. Using fishing boats and nets, U Marinaru brought food to the local population daily thanks to the water’s rich in fish.
