Located in downtown Spearfish, two blocks from Main Street, we`ve lovingly transformed our 24 x 20 sq ft hobby garage into a cherished home, adjacent to the original homestead.



*Dog-friendly with approval first. * Pet fee is $75 per trip, up to 2 dogs allowed, you are responsible for all cleanup and damages. Not allowed on beds and furniture. Must be crated if left inside while gone from the property. NO CATS. PLEASE MESSAGE ME FOR DETAILS.*



The bed is a Queen bed. The couch is also quite comfortable if needed for sleeping (let us know and we can provide bedding for the couch as well).

If you are planning on doing a lot of cooking during your stay and need to know what kitchen supplies we have, just message me and I can send photos of cabinet contents.



Hulu, Disney, ESPN, and Roku channels and subscription is provided.



This property is dog-friendly! If you plan to bring your dog, you must get pre-approval and pay the pet fee before check-in. We allow up to 2 dogs as long as they are fully potty trained, will stay off of the bed and couch, and will not be in the house alone unless kenneled. City law requires dogs to be on a leash while outside and because there are other cottages on the property and potentially other dogs visiting with their owners, it is extra important that dogs be on a leash when outside. Dog waste must be disposed of and any damages or additional cleaning may incur additional fees. We cannot currently accept cats, birds, etc at this property.



We have a strict no smokers policy (no smoking inside OR outside) as I am asthmatic and can have episodes with even second-hand smoke.

We want you to know that there is no laundry on location but the laundry mat is about 5 blocks away.



The parking for this property is free 24-hour street parking.

Important note for showers: The water heater is a tiny-home water tank so there`s about 15min of hot water at a time (it takes about 1 hr to fully reheat).

We are located less than 1 mile from award winning Dough Trader Pizza, a few blocks from Spearfish Creek, a mile from Lookout Mt Hike, and half a mile from stunning Spearfish Canyon and the beautiful City Park.

Perfect for a Couple

This very cute place is perfect for a couple! Super clean and love the decorations. All the amenities one needs and great little hot tub after a long day of driving. Definitely recommend!

Great stay

My husband and I, along with our dog, thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. The hot tub worked well and was a nice touch after hiking. The bungalow itself was very clean, decor was super cute, comfy and had everything we needed. We cooked in multiple times and the kitchen was adequately stocked. It was a great location close to groceries, gas and essentials.

Peaceful

My wife and I came up from Colorado to spend some time with family. Short driving distance to them and close to downtown Spearfish. Very peaceful. It will be our first choice when we come through again.

Quaint studio bungalow

Property was clean and easy to get too. Very cute and had a great use of space despite the size, really only big enough for 1-2 people comfortably. They provided everything you would need. I loved the hottub however i found a bandaide floating around in it not the most appealing. Would stay again!

The cottage was very cute and clean. But uncomfortable. The bed was hard, the couch was hard to get out of. The chair was not something you could get comfortable in at all. The deck had several boards that were sticking up and was a trip hazard. The hot tub was amazing. The fire pit was full of cigarette butts.

Spearfish at it's best

Lovely space, relaxing and very little traffic in the neighborhood. We enjoyed being so close to the park trail system and downtown Spearfish. Great kitchen which we used to prepare some lovely meals. Also great for my husband who is an avid bird watcher. Our little dog loved the fenced in yard.

Cute as a button

We really enjoyed our stay, it was perfect for us and our two pups. It is small, but utilized the space perfectly and updated so cute! It has everything we needed. It is in a cute quiet neighborhood and close to all the attractions. We wanted to be close to the Deadwood, the Blackhills, Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monument but not in a busy area. You can tell the owner takes pride in their home. It has lots of extras such a hot tub and cute outside sitting area. The biggest plus for us was the nice fenced in backyard for our pups. Also, it is air conditioned which is not common for the area, but it was actually 98 while we were there and were so thankful for the AC. The shower is tight but no big deal for us. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this rental.

Cute town, Fido Friendly

Excellent location for a couple days of motorcycle riding and sight-seeing. The site and town are very pup-friendly. The hot tub was a special treat!

A perfect little studio

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. This was a perfect place for my sister and I to stay while we attended our HS Reunion. It's within walking distance of Main Street and Jackson Blvd and many shops and restaurants. And this little studio had everything you need, most importantly, a coffee pot and coffee!
