"I spent a magical week on GTC on a solo trip. I was seeking a tranquil, relaxing “back to basics” trip. I arrived via ferry and Rex was great at guiding me to the cottage and showing me to my cottage. “Tahiti cottage” it was a beautiful 1br cottage, waterfront. No frills, but exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for 1 or 2.I saw sharks, turtles and sting rays every day! It was the highlight of my trip. The beach is gorgeous and great for walks and shelling. My only reason for 4 stars is the dredging/land clearing next door. Four of my 6 days was spent with large equipment dredging in the bay about 50 ft from the dock and clearing a lot next door via VERY loud equipment (Not the property owners fault) I had a very hard time relaxing by the water or in my cottage during all of this because it was so loud. I did reach out to the host and she was quick to respond (but not muchshe could do of course) I just would have liked to know this prior to booking as it had been going on for at least a couple of weeks already. Despite the construction next door, this property is so perfect for a vacation to just relax. "

"WOW! It’s hard to express how lovely this place is. This is our first but certainly NOT our last visit here. This is THE place to go to relax and understand what Bahama life is like! If you want to stay with tourists, this is not your place. If you want to relax and enjoy the locals and enjoy life then you found it. "

"We loved the Sea Orchid. The home was spotless and very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed as well as the bathrooms. Loved the screened porch, we spent a lot of time out there enjoying the water. Communication was great, Ashley responded almost immediately. We would definitely recommend the Sea Orchid, and stay there again. "

"Paradise Beach House is one of the best rental homes we’ve ever stayed in. Factoring in location and the beach and reef mere steps and paddles from the house, I’d say this was the best tropical vacation we’ve ever had!Upon arrival our first day, we jumped right into the ocean to snorkel, and it was absolutely gorgeous down there – so many colorful fish and other sea wildlife. It was our favorite off-the-shore snorkeling site at GTC, and how convenient to have it in your “backyard.” Before reaching the reef, there’s a nice, soft sand area for those that just want to take a dip. My family loved the house, beach and pool so much, our routine turned into playing around the Cay for half the day, and then just hanging out at the house to snorkel and relax at the pool in the afternoon. The back patio and deck were a perfect spot to read and take in the view. And the interior of the house was beautiful – it looks newly built. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals at home, with some amazing views for the cook. :)We love Green Turtle Cay’s charm, and we definitely plan to book another stay at Paradise Beach House – hopefully next summer!"
