"I love a great mom and pop lodging option! This is the absolutely most adorable little lodge. Everything was so clean and comfortable. Outdoors they have thought of everything possible for a relaxing stay. Cutest little fire pit areas. Grills! Grassy area for the kids to play in. Wonderful location near dining and the Museum of Mountain Men. Loved our stay!"

"Historic site, beautiful grounds, friendly owner/manager. I especially loved sitting on the porch surrounded by flowers and well kept plants and doing some work and chatting with some folks, then walking to dinner at a nearby restaurant. I also drove to some of the nearby lakes on the recommendation of the owner and was blown away by the beauty of the Wind River Range. This place doesn’t pretend to be what it isn’t, but it is definitely what it claims to be. Authentic wonderful place. "

"This property is in a beautiful location. Very close to Bear Lake Beaches and the main street of Garden City. The beds were comfortable and there was enough room for all 10 guests. The game room in the garage was a HUGE hit with the kids! The only downside was that the refrigerator doesn't make ice or have water hooked up. There were no ice trays either. Overall, a great place to stay!"

"We had a back yard wedding at mama bear the location is great, you can walk to get snacks/food and to the beach. The yard must not have been used much by previous guests we had to spend extra time cleaning up the porches and outdoor furniture. between the game room, games, toys and outdoor play equipment All the kids had something to do the entire time. The entire yard is fully fenced made the kids playing outside safe. The owners are easy to reach and very accommodating."

"Hosts were accommodating when our stay changed and responded quickly with an approval. Our whole group (adults, teens, tweens, and grade school kids down to 5 years old) loved using the three paddleboards out on the lake and there was room for everyone to sleep with beds to spare. It is centrally located, easy to get to, and clean. Thank you!"
