"We had such a lovely time at Simons 1850s Goldies cottage.Perfect for us, and our 2 big dogs loved the big fenced yards.They gave Simon plenty of licks when he came to show us the workings of the gate etc.We hired bikes and it was an easy 1.6km ride to town along the old rail trail.Watched some lovely sunsets and enjoyed one of the 3 fire places in the cottage on several nights.We certainly hope to return in the future and maybe do the whole rail trail from Port Fairy to Warnambool"

"Excellent location and Elizabeth made it really easy for us checking in. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The beach is literally 50m away. Onsite parking was really appreciated too as it got quite busy along the esplanade on Good Friday. Everything was within walking distance including dog beaches."

"Rustic and clean, with everything you need for a short stay. Close to CBD and botanic gardens. At dusk, hundreds of fruit bats give you a flyover. Excellent base for touring the area."

"Very quaint cottage and exactly as advertised. It was very cozy especially when we had the fire going to escape the winter chill. It's great being such a short walk from town.If we were to nitpick, the clothing storage is a little lacking with the one flimsy hanging rack."
