We enjoyed the proximity to Southwest Harbor, Echo Lake, and a sweet little quilt shop across the street! The hikes of Acadia & Bar Harbor were close by via car, and we enjoyed staying away from the summer crowds on the Quiet Side! The beds were comfy & all the amenities were great.
Loved this house. Perfect for us. We had a family wedding and it was so nice and cozy to come back to. Hope to book again next year and enjoy the area more.
Perfect house for for us, two couples, visiting Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Plenty of space to relax in the evening, and cook dinner in, after a long day hiking. The house was clean, neat, and well equipped. Host was very responsive. Close enough drive to many restaurants, lobster shacks, trails, etc. Its on a main road, but we never heard traffic noise. We appreciated the ‘quietside’ ,Southwest Harbor.

The house was clean and just what we were looking for for our trip to Acadia. Walked into town for dinner & icecream which was nice. Unfortunately while we were there we noticed a gas leak in the kitchen. The host was very responsive and professional, sending a technician the next day who was able to turn off the gas. No fault of the host, but definitely took away from our overall trip having to worry about that. Otherwise property was well maintained.
Great location with easy access to Acadia and it was also nice to be able to walk into southwest harbor. The house was great and easily accommodated our group of 10 people. Host was very responsive to answer any questions. Would stay again!
Awesome place for our stay. House is nicely decorated, recently updated, and enjoyable. I love the overall theme! The third bedroom is enclosed on the second floor with a seating area in the loft. We had easy access to Acadia and Southwest Harbor for activities, hiking, and food. Dog friendly and quiet neighborhood. Thanks for offering your house for rental.
A great home base to explore the island. It comfortably slept three adults and two kids and had all the kitchen amenities required to cook in. Great value!
First, the house is clean, great location, in pretty good shape overall. The host is pretty responsive. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed by the listing vs reality of the space. The upstairs is not accommodating to adults! Felt like the listng could have noted this! There's a reason they don't show pictures of the upstairs bathroom or bedroom. You are unable to stand up in either except at the doorway. Upon arrival 3 outdoor chairs were broken. Light fixtures out. Kitchen table wobbly. We had 9 adults and manager tried to tell us they only supplied toilet paper "to start." One roll per bathroom for a full week rental is absurd. Owner eventually did supply us with more. Kitchen burners don't work properly. We felt like we had to pick and choose what to bring up to the owner. For smaller group and kids only upstairs not a bad place. Can't imagine 12 people here.
