Stunning & Private Serenity

"Phil made us feel right at home in his oasis of a place on St. Margaret’s Bay. The beds & pillows and location of rooms overlooking the ocean with peaceful wave sounds at night provided the best sleep we have had in a long time. The view and sunrise were absolutely stunning & we wished we could have stayed longer. This was the tranquil getaway much needed. Sights, sounds, smells all worth staying here. We saw deer, cormorants diving, & heard lovely birds. It was so spacious and we plan to return with our kids. Thank you, Phil."

"This motel was lovely. These units were delightful and were wonderfully decorated simply but tastefully. The kitchen was well stocked with full sized a fridge freezer which fit an entire bag of ice. The stove was a glass top and we were able to reheat a frozen pizza in the oven. You can walk to the Atlantic Ocean from the hotel though it is a shingle beach but there were lots of collectible shells and stones. We used the motel as a base. It is walking distance to Lunenburg 1.9 km"

"I had a flight from Calgary cancelled and then 2 more delays after the cancellation. They were super booked my first night wasn’t the greatest, it wasn’t because of the staff it was because I’m an extremely light sleeper and I was near the lobby on the main floor, I heard everything. I requested a new room, to which they gave. Family and I went out to visit family and grabbed a bite to eat. When I got back to my room, there was a note telling me they were sorry for my travel experience, etc., and to open the fridge. They left us a beautiful charcuterie board along with cheesecake and a brownie! It was awesome; they really went above and beyond to make our experience better! The breakfast was good, rooms are very clean, staff is amazing! I will be back the next time I’m in Halifax. I would have booked again last night and tonight (July 4&5 2025) but they were booked solid! "
