"Excellent property in a lovely part of Weymouth"

"Nice property but very moldy inside. When my son entered he began counting spiders. He stopped at 15 but estimated that there must’ve been 30 spiders in the stairwell and main hallway. Now I like spiders and would never kill one, but I realize that’s not for everyone. I would trap them and put them outside. There was no WiFi. Zero, we connected to the router but that had no connection to the Internet. Also there was very limited cell phone service, so mobile hotspot was spotty. We were...

The cottage is set in the village near to amenities. You only have to walk down the hill to the promenade which has 2 superb eating venues .the cottage is by 2 brilliant bus services to portland and Weymouth really easy .We had no problem parking just down the road. "We really enjoyed our stay. The ground floor is perfect for a large group with a well equipped kitchen, cozy lounge and a dining room which easily seats 14/15 adults. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and nearly all with en-suites. The house is well located within easy reach of Dorchester, Bridport and the coast. Highly recommended."

Within 40 minutes drive there is a large number of places to visit and the village has everything you need. Pub within a couple of minutes walk as well as shops for supplies. "This property met all of our needs. It was the perfect size for us and very convenient to the train station and some hiking trails. Mark and Karen were great with recommendations and answering questions. The check-in process was very easy and we were greeted with milk and cookies. Grocery shops were very convenient. All appliances had detailed written directions on how to use. I would definitely stay here again."

"Fernlea was our base for a group of friends annual gathering to walk, catch up, eat and relax. It was very well equipped with excellent kitchen facilities and each member of the group was able to have their own room and bathroom. Lots of coastal walks directly from the house allowed us to park up on Friday afternoon and not get back into a car until we left. When the weather allowed views were excellent. Would thoroughly recommend for families and groups. Nearest shops and pubs are a mile or two...
