Southside Hotels, Flagstaff

"We stayed here for one night during our trip to Flagstaff/Sedona. The property is pretty, with multiple fire pits, yet they were never turned on despite it being super cold? Maybe you have to ask. It was very hard to sleep due to hearing everything outside of our room. Every time someone went into another room nearby, the door slamming was so loud it would startle us awake, and it went on til almost 1:00 AM. There were also strange sounds throughout the night that sounded like knocks (not paranormal, just something with the building itself). The breakfast buffet was very lackluster. All they had at 9:00 was waffles and no potatoes or hot breakfast meats. With an hour left of breakfast, that should be fully stocked. The room itself was nice, but I will be staying elsewhere on my next trip. "

"Stayed here based off of reviews and it did not disappoint. Each and every employee we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. The included breakfast had everything you could think of and evening cocktail hour with included appetizers put things right over the top. When given the chance I will pick Drury over any hotel in the vicinity. Thank you Flagstaff team for the warm welcome!"

"The room had pet hair and dirt and dust on the floor. Pet and human hair on the beds. A male staff member walked into the room without knocking on the door first."

"The overall stay was enjoyable. The room was not all the way clean (some lashes and stains were found in the restrooms and the bedding). However the staff was helpful and the area was overall pleasant and quiet. "
