Birdsong Cottage is set back behind the 114 W. West St main house and accessed through a side garden gate and path.

The cottage is ideally situated in the heart of historic Southport - a short walking distance to all of the quaint antique stores, chic boutiques, and laid-back riverfront seafood restaurants and bars.

The Oak Island Beaches are 10 minutes away. Bald Head Island and the beaches of Pleasure Island: Carolina Beach, Kure Beach and Fort Fisher are just a 20 minute ferry ride from Southport. The ferry is 6 minutes from the cottage.

Cottage Getaway

Birdsong Cottage is absolutely charming. Exceeding our expectations in everyway. The cottage is within the heart of downtown Southport, and all the shops and restaurants it has to offer. The host was very accommodating and made our stay even more relaxing. Highly recommend Birdsong Cottage to anyone looking to visit the Southport area.

Perfect location for single/couple

Very private and can walk to many (if not all) of Southport’s restaurants and shops. Spent anniversary with my wife. Cottage had all the amenities and hosts were excellent with communication and checkin. Looking forward to staying there again.

Birdsong was a really comfortable pleasant stay for 2 people. Short walk to shopping, dining, and outdoor entertainment. Kelly was great! Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again!

This day was absolutely perfect. We were in town for the weekend, to visit friends, we rented a golf cart and made the most of it. The hostess was absolutely phenomenal pro providing everything that we need and then some beautiful. We’ll definitely be back.

Adorable Weekend Getaway!

Had an absolute fantastic time here this weekend! Very clean, and the perfect space. I would recommend bring some bug stray if you plan to sit outside, but otherwise no complaints! Will definitely be coming back :)

Terrific cottage for 2 in a fabulous location in Southport, NC!

I booked the Birdsong cottage for two nights this week. Kelly was a pleasure to work with. I feel like I met a new friend! Definitely plan to stay there again because we love Southport and this cottage is in an ideal location for our needs and for two of us, do not need anything larger. 5 ’s!

Quaint Comfortable Cottage

Bird Song Cottage is a real treat. It is centrally located, well appointed, clean, excellent secure Wi-Fi, and well furnished. I would highly recommend it and I would definitely go back to stay again. The hosts are very thoughtful and thorough with their information and preparation. Great find!

Adorable Cottage

The cottage is adorable! The pictures are accurate. Perfect location. Park the car in your private space and walk to the restaurants and shops and swings watching dolphins. Kelly is great to work with. Southport is a gem.
