This property is stunning and in a great location for downtown. Beautifully decorated with all of the amenities we needed to include pool towels, laundry detergent, umbrellas, blankets for a cozy evening in the living room, kitchen utensils and coffee fixins. The bed was very comfortable. The evening was quiet and we rested well. The pool area is private and relaxing as is the front balcony for morning coffee. I wanted to have something negative to say so that this property wouldn’t get overbooked and we could return easily. LOL. But there are no negatives. It was amazing.

Southport retreat

This is a gem. It had everything: local vibe (even in Feb), good restaurants, walkable and proximity to water. We felt comfortable from the moment we walked in. Previous reviews were great and we concur. Hoping this will be a yearly visit.

Nice Weekend

Enjoyed our stay. The local restaurants are fantastic. The pool was open and we used it one day. As mentioned in the VRBO listing, if you have trouble using stairs, then this 2nd floor rental may not be suited for you. We will be back for another stay.

First time to Southport

Location of the condo is perfect! Can walk most anywhere, beautiful historic homes, loved the bells from the Episcopal Church! Condo is very spacious, great layout. The balcony is very nice, there was no propane in the fire table however. Would have loved to sit beside the fire as the evenings were pretty chilly! Had brunch at Oliver's on our way out of town. Great views! Will stay here again!

My little getaway!

I just needed a little getaway for myself and have always wanted to visit Southport. This place was a great location and size for myself to reset! My daughter came in from Boston for a few days and we did some antiquing and a boat cruise. My husband was even able to come in for our last night there. But the accommodations were lovely, the house spic and span. We had everything we needed and wanted for nothing! It was nice to sit out on the balcony and overlook the shoppers walking around. I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend this listing! Also I recommend the pool for a relaxing time!

Wonderful Getaway

We stopped in Southport to visit friends on our way home from FL to the Northeast. We stayed at this property for two nights and the location and accommodations couldn’t have been better. The condo was roomy with a great balcony overlooking the main streets in town. My husband and I enjoyed walks both mornings down to the river and nearby parks. The kitchen was well equipped and open for entertaining. Our friends came over to watch the NFL playoffs and the setting was perfect. The master bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable AND the water pressure in the master bath was great. Communication with the owner was very positive and they were gracious enough to allow an early check in which was awesome. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely book again when we return.
