Holiday Inn Dumfries by IHG
Well appointed large room (Executive King for 2 adults and child). Good value breakfast, hot and cold food & drink availabe. Plenty of car park spaces both at the rear of the hotel and overspill nearby. Overall, worth a visit and I would recommend.

Hunday Manor Country House Hotel
Great vegan breakfast. Not much choice of vegan main meals. The muzak was awful...wishy washy covers of great songs.
