"Cute, cozy cabin exactly as pictured. Hosts were wonderful and made us feel welcome. This space is small, but was nicer than any hotel room at this price.Upstairs bed was really comfortable. Downstairs queens is a typical sofa bed. Saved us the cost of eating out for breakfast and we just slept there. Instant hot water heater for the bathroom was a bonus. "

"This was our second time staying at butch’s hideout and will probably continue to stay here as long as we come to bear lake. We love the access to ideal beach (our family stays there), the arcade games are an added bonus - SO FUN! Check in and out was so easy and the hideout is so cozy- it feels as if I’m staying at grandma and grandpas cabin. Thanks for the 2nd year of a great stay!"

"Staff was very accommodating, but our tent was not ideal with rainy conditions. Tents should have been checked after the rain. Also, nobody was there for checkout for rented heater return."

"It’s exactly what it says it is. I don’t do much camping so it was nice to have a comfortable bed in an off the grid tent. I stayed in a king bed tent with my husband and 2 dogs. It is as comfortable as one can be camping. If you don’t want to camp stay somewhere else. Over all I loved it even with rain and a thunderstorm. We stayed dry and warm! I would stay again or recommend if that’s the type of stay your looking for."
